The Influence Of BSSRO On Mandibular Width In Patients With Facial Deflection

Objective:By collecting mandible rises the sagittal split osteotomy of developmental patients with facial skewed data (including preoperative postoperative head positioning the positive side, CBCT, preoperative postoperative facial and bite phase), investigate mandible rises the sagittal split osteotomy in patients with facial deflection mandibular width, the influence of for patients with facial deflection of surgery (mainly refers to the BSSRO) provide clinical guidance.Methods:Randomly selected from October2011-February2011, tianjin stomatological hospital are the records of72patients with facial deflection jaw surgery, deflection are developmental malformation.According to condylar and mandible rises the development situation, it can be divided into three categories:(1) partial prognathism30patients (41.6%; male18cases,12cases, with an average age of24years old).(2) the partial condensation jaw22patients (30.7%;10cases of male, female12cases, mean age,24.5years).(3) simple jaw deflection jaw20cases (27.7%;10cases of male, female10cases, mean age,23.5years).All adopt the BSSRO treatment, of which12cases of pure line BSSRO, levels of54cases with bone cutting chin plasty,6cases of combined type LefortI osteotomy.Of postoperative patients with preoperative head positioning the positive side, CBCT pills of mandibular width (period, middle and lower section), Angle (up a slope, mandibular Angle), and other fixed point measurement.Using SPSS15.0statistical software for data analysis, the measurement results are paired t test, inspection level of alpha=0.05.Results:1.24cases of30patients with partial prognathism postoperative mandible width became wider,4cases became smaller,2cases kept unchanged;The change and side mandible rises the gradient changes were positively correlated (r=0.47, p<0.05), was positively related with the contralateral Ar-Go-Me (r=0.64, p<0.05);2. In22patients with partial condensation jaw of17cases of postoperative mandible width became wider,3cases became smaller,2cases kept unchanged;The change and negatively correlated with the contralateral mandible rises a slope (r=0.69, p<0.05);3. In20patients with pure deflection jaw in,14cases of postoperative mandible width became wider,3cases became smaller,3cases kept the same.IGW with a slope of a linear correlation (r-0.56,0.60, respectively, p<0.05);4.Compared with preoperative and postoperative patients with three kinds of mandibular width became wider, and mandibular width change value since the mandibular branch of bottom-up is degressive trend.ConclusinBSSRO can cause postoperative patients with facial deflection under surface width increases, resulting in patients with type change.
