| Object:To review timing of surgery for prognosis of hip fracture in the elderly Systematically. Methods:We searched the Cochrane Library (1980~2013.6), CBM (1978~2013.6), CNKI (1979~2013.6), Embase (1990~2013.6), PubMed (1966~2013.6), FMJS (1995~2013.6), VIP (1989-2013.6), wanfang (1998-2013.6), the reader shows, we also supplemented reference tracing and manual searches to comprehensively collect randomized controlled trials(RCTs) about timing of surgery for prognosis of hip fracture in the elderly. After screening literatures according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria we performed data extraction and quality assessment, finally,we carried out meta-analysis using RevMan5.0software.Results:Seven studies were included involving1076patients.. Meta-analysis results showed that:there was no difference in mortality of a short-term timing of surgery (<48hours and>48hours) in early surgery and delayed surgery after1month,6months and12months, but in timing of surgery in the mid-(<72hours and>72hours),1-year mortality and postoperative complications in delayed surgery was higher than in early surgery, For ADL0and ADL12scores, no significant differences were found between2groups, but the ADL6scores of delayed surgery were lower than that of early surgery. Conclusion:Having a hip fracture surgery within72hours can reduce1-year mortality and complications, enhance postoperative functional recovery and improve quality of life in the elderly. |
