| [Objective] To explore the role and significance of Stromal Cell Derived Factor1(SDF-1), India porcupine protein (Ihh), alpha2macroglobulin (α2M) in the osteoarthritis patients and provide evidences for the further treatment of OA and find new treatment ideas.[Methods]1.20patients with primary osteoarthritis were selected during2013-01/2013-12in the first affiliated hospital of Kunming Medical College as an experimental group.Diagnosis of all patients complied with United States established by the society of Rheumatology diagnostic criteria for osteoarthritis. The average age of20patients with OA were54.3years.The course of patients were6months to5years, at an average of2.4years.Outerbridge criteria were used for OA cartilage degeneration:â… ã€â…¡degree of articular cartilage degeneration in patients with as the experimental group1(10cases), â…¢ã€â…£ in patients with moderate or severe degenerative cartilage as the experimental group2(10cases).In addition,20patients with knee injuries (not osteoarthritis) as a control group, the average age of37.5years.The course of patients were1weeks to2months, at an average of1months. Ihh, alpha2m and SDF-1level were tested in the synovial fluid and blood of all patients.2. SDF-I, Ihh, α-2M content in synovial fluid and the blood are measured respectively by ELISA. All data were processed using SPSS17.0statistical software packages, each set of values with mean±standard deviation (X±s), t test was used for the comparison between the two groups.Using p=0.05as a significant difference of standard. When P<0.05, representing the differences between two sets of data have significant meaning.[Results]1. The concentration of the SDF-1in the synovial fluid of the patients with OA synovial fluid was higher than the patients with injury of knee joint. The differences between two groups had significant meaning,P<0.05.The concentration of the SDF-1of OA patients with moderately severe articular cartilage degeneration was higher than patients with mild articular cartilage degeneration,The differences between two groups of data had significance,P<0.05.lhh concentration in synovial fluid from patients with OA had no significant difference with the patients with knee injury. The differences between two groups of data had no significant meaning,P>0.05. a2M concentration in synovial fluid in patients with OA had no significant difference with the concentration of α-2M in patients with knee injuries. The differences between two groups of data had no significance,P>0.05.In patients with OA, the α2M concentration in patients with moderately severe articular cartilage degeneration had no obvious difference with the ones with mild articular cartilage degeneration. The differences between two groups of data had no significant meaning,P>0.05.2. The concentration of the SDF-1in the blood of patients with OA had no difference with patients with injury of knee joint. The differences between two groups of data had no significance,P>0.05.The concentration of the SDF-1of OA patients with moderately severe articular cartilage degeneration had no difference with patients who had mild articular cartilage degeneration,The differences between two groups of data had no significance.P>0.05.Ihh concentration in blood from patients with OA and had no significant difference with the patients with knee injury. The differences between two groups of data had no significance,P>0.05.α2M concentration in blood in patients with OA was higher than patients with knee injuries. The differences between two groups of data had significance,P<0.05.In patients with OA. the α2M concentration in patients with moderately severe articular cartilage degeneration had no obvious difference with the ones with mild articular cartilage degeneration. The differences between two groups of data have no significance,P>0.05.[Conclusions]1.The concentration of the SDF-1in synovial fluid could had relationship with the degree of articular cartilage degeneration in the patients with OA, it could be used as the severity of OA index.2.The concentration of the α2M and Ihh in synovial fluid had no relationship with the degree of articular cartilage degeneration.3.The concentration of the α2M in blood had relationship with the degree of articular cartilage degeneration in the patients with OA, it could be used as the severity of OA index.4.The concentration of the SDF-1and Ihh in blood had no relationship with the degree of articular cartilage degeneration. |
