Observation Of Yiqi Huoxue Decoction On The Treatment Of Angina Of Coronary Heart Disease

Objective: Coronary heart disease is abbreviation of coronary atheroscleroticheart disease.Andangina is one of a type of it,which is one of the threats to health in theelderly, and also the leading cause of death in the elderly.Currently, there are more andyounger people get coronary heart disease, and clinical morbidity and mortality alsoincreased gradually, which seriously affecting the health and safety of human life[1].Prevention and treatment of angina, reducing its incidence has been widespreadconcern around the world.Angina is a Chinese " Thoracic Obstruction " and " Heartache", the sick belong to heart, and have relation to spleen, liver, and kidney. The mainpathogenesis is blood stasis,.Therefore, Yiqi,promoting blood and relieve painare thebasic rule method.Using the Integrative thinking and methods to understand coronaryheart disease, and treat coronary heart disease, achieved better therapeutic effect inclinical practice.Therefore, In clinical work, we selected110patients with angina, betreated by western medicine， and Yiqihuoxue decoction combinated with westernmedicine, respectively. The results in the combination therapy group was better thanwestern group. We believe Yiqihuoxue decoction is an effective medicine treatment ofangina pectoris.Materials and Methods:The patients was choosed fromAugust2011to July2013admitted110patients hospitalized with angina pectoris. All diagnostics are in linewith the1979WHO "Thediagnostic criteria for ischemic heart disease","PracticalInternal Medicine"(Tenth Edition) andchest stuffiness and blood stasis syndrome ofChinese medicine.The110patients were randomly divided into two groups,with the integrative medicine approach, as well as in the treatment of coronary heart disease inrecent years.50cases with Yiqihuoxue decoction combined with western medicine and60cases of simple western medicine treatment of coronary heart disease.Compartion theclinical efficacy of the two groups after treatment, the efficacy of TCM symptoms,ECG.Results: The clinical efficacy: the total effective rates of the combined group andwestern medicine group were90.0%,73.3%, the difference between the two groups wasstatistically significant (P <0.05).The clinical efficacy of the combined group wassignificantly better than medicine group. Traditional Chinese medicine syndromes: thetotal effective rate of the combined group and western medicine group, was70%,61.7%.Tthe combined group was significantly better than the western medicine group.ECG improvement: the total effective rate of the combined group and western medicinegroup was56%,36.7%.The combined group wassignificantly better than the westernmedicine group.Conclusion:The method of integrative medicine treatment of angina have abetter efficacyand ECG improvement than with western medicine alone. Compared withwestern medicine therapy, integrative medicine can significantly improve the clinicalefficacy of angina and efficacy of Traditional Chinese medicine.
