Objective:(1)The subjects were randomly divided into amiloride group (treatment group)and basic treatment group(control group)to investigate the effects of amiloride to different levelsneurological deficits of patients with acute cerebral infarction.(2)Levels of TGF-β1and Glu in serum were detected from patients with different periods,to investigate the role of amiloride in cerebral development combined with its pharmacologicalmechanism.Methods:60patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into amiloridegroup and the basic treatment group, both of them were given basic symptomatic treatment andontinuous medication for14days. The Glu levels and TGF-β1levels of2groups patients’ serumwere measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in the first and the fourteenthday. Patients with acute cerebral infarction were scored in according to differentiation ofsyndrome and score of neurological deficits. Levels of TGF-β1and Glu in all patients’ serumwere correlation analysis on the first day.Data were statistically analyzed using SPSS16.0, thedifferences between two groups were statistically significant when P <0.05.Results: The differences between two groups in NIHSS score, levels of TGF-β1and Glu inserum were not statistically significant (P>0.05) before treatment. After the treatment, thelaboratory parameters were significantly improved compared with before. After the treatment, the NIHSS score of control group and treatment group were {(9.00±4.35)vs(8.10±3.89)}, thedifference was not statistically significant (P>0.05);The Glu levels in serum of control groupand treatment group were {(64.77±14.60)vs(57.36±13.42)}μmol/L after the treatment, thedifference was statistically significant (P<0.05);After the treatment, the TGF-β1levels in serumof control group and treatment group were {(26.36±6.06)vs(34.81±7.36)}pg/ml, the differencewas statistically significant (P <0.05);The linear correlation analysis between levels of TGF-β1and Glu in serum was done before treatment, both of which were negatively correlated (r=-0.230), Y=42.979-0.238X.When levels of Glu in serum increases, levels of TGF-β1decrease,P <0.05. Conclusion:(1)Two groups of patients’ NIHSS score were significantly lower comparedwith before.(2)Two groups of patients’ Glu in serum were significantly lower compared withbefore, but the treatment group reduced more obviously.(3)Two groups of patients’ TGF-β1inserum were significantly higher compared with before, but the treatment group increased moreobviously.(4)The linear correlation analysis between levels of TGF-β1and Glu in serum werenegatively correlated,When levels of Glu in serum increases, levels of TGF-β1decrease.
