Background: According to the biological characteristics, treatment and prognosis, lung cancer is divided into small cell lung cancer and non-small cell lung cancer(Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer, NSCLC).NSCLC accounts for about85%in the whole lungcancer, so the non small cell lung cancer has become the clinical research focus. In recent30years, the incidence and mortality of lung cancer is rising rapidly, it is one of the mostmalignant tumors in the world, and it has become the leading cause of cancer death in mostcountries. With the process of industrialization and urbanization of our country, environmental pollution and a huge crowd of smoking, the incidence and mortality of lungcancer has increased dramatically in recent years,(incidence57.63/100000, mortality48.87/100000), which was the first cause of cancer death in our country. The totalmortality of lung cancer is rising year by year, the lymph node metastasis is the main riskfactors. Chemokines and their receptors chemotaxis and persistent angiogenesis plays animportant role in the process of lymph node metastasis in cancer. CCR7and CXCR4protein, one of the chemokine receptor CCR and CXCR family, were expressed in manymalignant tumor cells. It is worth to detect the expression of chemokine receptor CCR7innon-small cell lung cancer, to explore the correlation between chemokine receptor CCR7and CXCR4.Objective:To detect the expression of chemokine receptor CCR7and CXCR4innon-small cell lung cancer, to explore the clinical significance of it and the correlationbetween chemokine receptor CCR7and CXCR4. Methods:The sample of cancer tissues,from60patients with NSCLC who underwentcomplete resection without preoperative radiotherapy or chemotherapy in the Departmentof Cardiothoracic Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University fromNovember2009to November2010. The expression of CCR7was detected byimmunohistochemistry (IHC),meanwhile clinical and follow-up data was collected and thedata of CXCR4is cited from our research group. To analyze the clinical significance ofCCR7and it correlation with the expression of CXCR4of the same specimens.Results:1.The expression of CCR7ã€CXCR4in cancer tissues were significantlyhigher than in the distal normal lung tissues (p<0.01).2.The expression of CCR7ã€CXCR4was related to the clinical stage and lymph node metastasis(p<0.05),but was notassociated with sex, age, pathological type, differentiation degree, tumor size or history ofsmoking(p>0.05).3. The expression level of CCR7was negatively related to theprognosis(Log-Rank test, p=0.001).3.The expression level of CXCR4was negativelyrelated to the prognosis(Log-Rank test, p=0.006).5.The expression of CCR7and CXCR4in non-mall cell lung cancer tissue was positively correlated(rn=0.830,p=0.000).Conclusion:1.The expression of CCR7ã€CXCR4in non-mall cell lung cancer tissueswas significantly higher than the distal normal lung tissues.2.The expression of CCR7ã€CXCR4was related to the clinical stage and lymph node metastasis.3. The expressionlevel of CCR7ã€CXCR4was related to the prognosis of non-small cell lung cancer..4.The expression of CCR7and CXCR4in non-mall cell lung cancer tissues was positivelycorrelated, but there is unknown whether CCR7and CXCR4exist internal correlation.... |
