Therapeutic Options For Hormone Receptor-positive Advanced Breast Cancer

Objective To observe the effect and side-effect of hormonereceptor-positive advanced breast cancer.Methods To analysisretrospectively of83cases of hormone receptor-positive advanced breastcancer.Results Median DFS of patients with stage IIA (12.0%)was46months;median DFS of patients with stage IIB (20.5%)was41months;medianDFS of patients with stage IIIA(27.7%)was27months;median DFS of patientswith stage IIIB(24.1%)was23months;median DFS of patients with stageIIIC(15.7%)was16months.Median DFS of patients with Her-2positive(45.8%)was23months;Median DFS of patients with Her-2negative(54.2%)was41months.Using t test, P＜0.001, there wasstatistically significant difference between the groups.In first-linepalliative treatment,25cases（30.1%）accepted endocrine therapy,and58cases(69.9%) accepted chemotherapy.In endocrine therapy group,the effectwas PR in9cases,SD in10cases,PD in6cases,ORR was36.0%.Inchemotherapy group,the effect was PR in27cases,SD in19cases,PD in12cases,ORR was46.6%.Median TTP of patients with endocrine therapy was15.5months.Median TTP of patients with chemotherapy therapy was7.0months.Using t test,P=0.033, there was statistically significantdifference between the groups.Patients with endocrine therapy were welltolerated.More side-effect of chemotherapy was observed.Only6cases（15.8%） accepted trastuzumab therapy in patients with Her-2positive.2cases(2.4%) dead before completing of this article.Conclusions Morehormone receptor-positive advanced breast cancer accepted chemotherapyin first-line palliative treatment.According to effect and toxicity,theclinical position of endocrine therapy should be improved.The advancesin targeted therapy plus endocrine therapy would be paied more attention.
