Objective:To evaluate the prognostic factors of recurrence after transurethral resec-tion of bladder tumor(TURBT)in patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancers. Methods:A retrospective clinical-pathological analysis was made in159cases ofNMIBC in The First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from Apr.2009to Oct.2013,9post-resection factors were assessed by SPSS19.0software,andunivariate analysis and multivariate analysis were done in order to determine clini-cal-pathological factors which had influenced the recurrence of NMIBC patients afterTURBT.Results:Up to Apr.2014,29cases were recurrenced in the all159cases of postopera-tive patients, the overall recurrence rate was18.24%,and the mean recurrence-freesurvival was21.25months.Univariate analysis showed that the tumor size, tumorgrade, previous recurrence, tumor stage and number of tumors were significant fortumor recurrence(P<0.05).The COX multivariate model indicated that independentrecurrence factors were the tumor stage (HR=2.741) and number of tu-mors(HR=2.293).Conclusion:The tumor size, tumor grade, previous recurrence, tumor stage andnumber of tumors were the prognostic factors of recurrence after TURBT in patientswith non-muscle-invasive bladder tumors. Tumor stage and number of tumors playsthe most important role in tumor recurrence. |
