Objective:By transurethral resection of the prostate (transurethral resection of theprostate, TURP) in patients taking dutasteride given (dutasteride), to evaluate theimpact of its occurrence secondary to postoperative hematuria, hematuria secondaryto TURP surgery treatment of a preliminary study. Methods:The Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University for treatment of benignprostatic hyperplasia diagnosis (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH) patients selected114patients divided into two groups: the experimental group dutasteride76cases ofpatients hospitalized after oral administration of dutasteride (0.5mg, Qd, for taking6-8days) to preoperative; the control group38cases, the use of blank control.Experimental group and the control group mean age was (71.1±3.7) years old and(70.9±3.6) years of age (P>0.05). All patients were treated with TURP surgery, operation time record, weighing resected prostate tissue. Experimental group afterthe first day to continue to give oral dutasteride (0.5mg, Qd, taking three consecutivemonths), the control group was given blank record indwelling catheter time, grosshematuria disappeared, postoperative hospital stay number of days. All patients werefollowed up for3months, the incidence of postoperative hematuria secondary, andthe number of patients in the experimental group was observed adverse drugreactions occur, the difference between the results of two groups were compared, and analyze correlation. Results:The number of patients in the experimental group and the control groupafter the disappearance of gross hematuria time was (2.4±1.3) days and (3.4±1.5)days, within3months after surgery in patients with secondary hematuria were threecases (3.9%) and7cases (18.4%), for data analysis were statistically significant (P <0.05). The age of resected prostate tissue, postoperative indwelling catheter timeand operation time compared the two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05). During the three-month experimental group patients medication withoutadverse drug reactions. Conclusion:TURP postoperative patients given oral dutasteride to reduce theincidence of postoperative hematuria secondary role is significantly effective.Studies suggest that giving patients taking dutasteride degree0.5mg Qd, takingthree months hematuria secondary effects on postoperative treatment is effective andrelatively safe.
