Background and objective:The incidence of hepatitis B in our country is higher than occident, and ascites isone of the most unbearable symptoms of hepatic cirrhosis,so the treatment of ascitesis an effective way to improve the quality of life of patients with hepatic cirrhosis.Thetreatment of ascites is so difficult that there is no good way to treat patients withhepatic cirrhosis, even though there are so many new drugs and methods.Thisexperiment aimed at analyzing the relationship between abdominal girth of patientswith hepatic cirrhosis and ascites and sex, age, serum, serum albumin, serum sodium,PT and intra-abdominal pressure, and assess the difference of serum aldosteronebetween health control, hepatic cirrhosis and ascites and hepatic cirrhosis patientswithout ascites.Method:To detect the serum sodium, serum albumin and serum aldosterone levels in86patients and42control,of whom56patients with hepatic cirrhosis and ascites(ascirrhosis with ascites group),30patients of hepatic cirrhosis without ascites(ascirrhosis without ascites group),the intra-abdominal pressure of cirrhosis with ascitesgroup will be measured by single use glass piezometer tube. Then analyze the serumaldosterone levels of three groups and find the relationship between intra-abdominalpressure and serum aldosterone levels of cirrhosis with ascites group. Results:The serum aldosterone levels in cirrhosis with ascites group ranged at484.57±140.23pg/ml,in cirrhosis without ascites group ranged at288.60±116.05pg/ml,inhealthy control ranged at106.14±48.26pg/ml.And the serum aldosterone levels incirrhosis with ascites group were significantly different than those in cirrhosis withoutascites group and healthy control, there were no difference between cirrhosis withoutascites group and healthy control of serum aldosterone levels.2.The relationshipbetween abdominal girth and intra-abdominal pressure of cirrhosis with ascitesgroup:The abdominal girth were elevated with intra-abdominal pressure and aldosterone. There are no relationship between abdominal girth of hepatic cirrhosispatients who with ascites and their age, serum sodium,PT, and serum albumin. Conclusion:There are relationship between the intra-abdominal pressure and abdominal girthof patients with hepatic cirrhosis and ascites. There are linear relationship betweenintra-abdominal pressure and aldosterone. The aldosterone level of patients withhepatic cirrhosis and ascites is higher than one of the patients with single cirrhosis orgroup control.
