Method At present,lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highestmorbidity and mortality rates. Its remains a major public health problem worldwide.In recent years, the morbidity and mortality of lung cancer have been increasedobviously in the world. According to our survey results, from2000to2005, therewere about120000new patients of lung cancer in China. Lung cancer is the leadingcause of cancer death among females and males,31%of all cancer deaths in males,and27%of all cancer death in females are attributable to lung cancer. Increasedfemale lung cancer incidence is more obvious. Besides, the epidemiological datashowed that the incidence ratios and clinical characteristics were different withdifferent pathological types of lung cancer, and demonstrates different features withtime and area.Objective The aim of this study is to comprehensive analysis of sex, age, smoking,national, staging, treatment, pathology of936lung cancer cases, that help us tounderstand the Clinical and pathological characteristics of primary bronchogeniccarcinoma of4years in Qinghai.Data and Method936inpatient cases of lung cancer in the affiliated hospital ofQinghai University from January2009to December2012were collected.The histology of the tumor was described according to the World Health Organizationclassification, and the stage was defined by the7thedition of IASLC-TNM stagingsystem. Statistical methods using chi-square test. The characteristics in primarybronchogenic carcinoma of Qinghai were described. Conclusion:1.The constituent ratio of lung cancer was higher in male than female. Squamous cellcarcinomas is higher in male, while adenocarcinoma is higher in female.2. The age range of lung cancer occurence was51-70, this range is getting youngernow. Besides, young patients primarily suffered from adenocarcinoma, whereas theelderly suffered squamous cell carcinomas.3. Compared with the minorities, the constituent ratio of lung cancer in Hannationality was significantly higher. In the Hui nationality and the Tibetan, theconstituent ratios of lung cancer was higher in male than in female, and theincidence of squamous carcinoma is higher than small cell carcinoma andadenocarcinoma.4.Squamous carcinoma, small cell carcinoma and other types of lung cancer insmokers is much, adenocarcinoma in never-smokers, suggests squamous carcinomaoccurs more to do with smoking.5.Different pathological types of lung cancer have different characteristics, such assymptoms, originate site and metastatic sites.
