In order to investigate the best conditions of the flavonoids and saponins of HostaAlbofarinosa extracted. We take use of the single factor and orthogonal experiments (ethanolconcentration, solid-liquid ratio, temperature, ultrasonic time) method to Select the optimumconditions. The results showed that: the optimum conditions of Flavone extraction were62.3%,80%ethanol concentration, solid to liquid ratio1:10, extraction temperature50oC, ultrasonictime50min, the optimum conditions of Saponin extraction were74.5%,60%ethanolconcentration, solid to liquid ratio1:15, extraction temperature70oC, ultrasonic time50min.Extracting the flavonoids of Hosta under optimum conditions and made it into the Concrete.Do experiment of bacteriostasis about the flavone, The results showed that: the flavone have ainhibited effect for the Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella. Inparticular, the inhibited effect for the Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli is especially.Extracting the flavonoids of Hosta under optimum conditions and made it into the concrete.Purified the concrete by silica gel column, combined collection of fluid, freeze and dried.Purified the dry sample which collected from amount of liquid chromatography throughmacroporous resin. Detected OD at268nm, combined collected liquid, concentrated underreduced pressure, freezed and dried to give Hosta saponin. the experiment of antibacterial andanticancer activity for Hosta saponin was conducted. The former studied that the saponin has ainhibited effect for the Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella. Inparticular, the inhibited effect for the Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli is especially.The latter studied that the saponin has significantly inhibitedz for the growth of human gastriccancer cells SGC7901and human hepatoma HepG2cell. With increasing concentration ofsaponin Hosta, the number of dead cells gradually increased, most of the experimental groupcell were rounded, refraction variated, cracking dead. Had no significant effect for the humancolon cancer cells RKO, Almost had no harm to hamster kidney cell line BHK normal cells, Cellgrown normally and no significant change. So that Hosta saponins with small toxic side effectsand specific characteristics. Provide a theoretical basis for the further study of Hosta saponins.
