Objective:Study on the Quality of Aquilaria agallocha by "Quintana made incense technology".Aquilaria sinensis plant resources diversity studies for the effective use of it resourcesprovide the basis.Methods:(1) By collection and arrangement the ancient herbal books about the description ofthe Aquilaria sinensis, from it’s medicinal history, the evolution of species, different namediscrimination, origin changes and edgeworthia methods.(2) Results of the new method to evaluate the quality of medicinal Aquilariaagallocha, according to the2010edition of "Chinese Pharmacopoeia"(a) under Aquilariaagallocha content and increased fluorescence microscopic identification, ether-solubleextract content determination, while using different extraction methods Aquilaria agallochaherbs volatile components for GC-MS analysis, and the use of gas chromatography inAquilaria agallocha herbs characteristic active ingredient benzyl acetone content.(3) To research the Aquilaria sinensis plant leaves, fruits, seeds and xylem morphology,analysis the phenotypic diversity of Aquilaria sinensis plant, and through cluster analysis toclassify the Aquilaria sinensis plant resources.Results:In ancient herbal medicine records, Aquilaria agallocha plant sources includingThymelaeaceae plant Aquilaria agallocha (imports) and Aquilaria sinensis (domestic) twodifferent varieties, many different names and product specifications, and some because of origin varies, some due for varies in different parts of plants. MI Xiang, Jianan, Qinan, Wan Xiang, daughter Aquilaria agllocha_aresynonyms, yellow wax Shen, chicken incense, Zhan Xiang, Qing Guixiang, horseshoeincense, Tau, fried incense, incense and other Huang Shu for Aquilaria agllocha differentcommercial specifications. Mainly produced in Guangxi, Guangdong, Hainan (in Aquilariasinensis-based) and Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries (mainly in Aquilariaagallocha), mostly in western Guangdong early Ming Dynasty when transplanted in theeastern part of Guangdong.
