Objective To investigate the expressions of VEGF and P120in breast cancer andmammary adenosis, explore the different TNM staging, pathologic types, lymphnode metastasis of breast cancer patients of the clinical significance. Methods Collection affiliated Hospital of Ningxia Medical University62caseswith breast Paraffin-embedded specimens and26cases with mammary adenosis fromOctober2010to March2011.These samples all have complete clinical data andwere confirmed by pathology, without preoperative radiotherapy andchemotherapy.Use immunohistochemical method to detect the expression of VEGFand P120in62cases of breast cancer and mammary adenosis。and observe theimmunohistochemistry results by optical microscopy.Statistical analysis oftheir relationship and discuss the relevance of their and various clinicalpathological index. Results The abnormal expression rate of VEGF and P120were77.4%(48/62)å'Œ80.6%(50/62) in patients with breast cancer. There were significant differencesin breast cancer and benign breast disease of the abnormal expression rate(P=0.000).The expression of them had completely positively correlated withhistological grade and clinical stage. But had no correlation withage, menopausal status, tumor size. The expression of VEGF had completelypositively correlated with axillary lymph node status(P=0.017). The expressionof VEGF had negative correlation with ER,PR (r=-0.305,r=-0.258),The expressionof P120had no correlation with axillary lymph node status,ER,PR(P>0.05). Theexpression of VEGF and P120are positively related in breast cancer(P=0.011,r=0.321). Conclusion The abnormal expression of VEGF and P120in patients with breastcancer. they do have synergy and plays an important role in breast cancer ofangiogenesis.Combined detection of VEGF and P120will be used to evaluate breastcancer prognosis and guide treatment.
