Objective: Breast cancer is a common malignancy of women one of its recurrence and metastasis are affecting quality of life and survival time an important reason. Recent studies have found that blood vessels and lymphatic formation and the occurrence of breast cancer, closely related to the development and prognosis. In recent years, the tumor angiogenesis and lymph angiogenesis research and more concentrated in the vascular endothelial growth factor on the family. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) are considered to stimulate vascular endothelial cells proliferation one of the most important factors, promoting it as a specific angiogenesis and vascular permeability factor in tumor-induced angiogenesis and metastasis of the role of others people are subject to a high degree of attention. Based on the 40 cases of breast fibroadenoma, as well as 80 cases of human breast cancer patients with invasive ductal cancer of vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) testing, aimed at exploring VEGF-C on the impact of lymph node metastasis of breast cancer. Analysis of breast cancer tissue and tumor within the lymphatic tissue growth factor in the different expression of axillary lymph node metastasis and the relationship between the exploration lymphangiogenesis in tumors in the lymph node metastasis to the possible mechanism for the clinical judgement of whether breast cancer lymph node metastasis provide a new and effective method. Methods:By immunohistochemical Envision of 80 cases of human breast invasive ductal carcinoma and 40 patients with breast fibroadenoma of the paraffin section were tested to observe the expression of VEGF-C status. Were analyzed by optical microscopy immunohistochemical staining results. Then statistical analysis of the specimens with lymph node metastasis and no lymph node metastases were found to express the existence of differences. Results: Breast fibroadenoma and breast disease tissue were not found VEGF-C expression. 40 patients with breast fibroadenoma were negative VEGF-C, 80 cases of breast cancer in VEGF-C, the positive rate was 72.5% (58/80), of which there are 52 patients with lymph node metastasis, VEGF-C, the positive rate 80.8%. With lymph node metastasis of breast cancer, the expression of VEGF-C and without lymph node metastasis group expression was highly significant difference. VEGF-C expression in primary breast cancer cell cytoplasm, the positive result for the bright brown granular analysis of the optical microscope immunohistochemical staining results VEGF-C and lymph node metastases were positively correlated. Conclusion: With lymph node metastasis of breast cancer, the expression of VEGF-C and without lymph node metastasis group expression was highly significant difference, suggesting that the expression of VEGF-C with lymph node metastasis of breast cancer are closely related. VEGF-C maybe the primary tumor cells and around lymphatic endothelial cells adjacent to the interface between the secretion of the important adjustment factors in the occurrence of lymph node metastasis may play an important role.Breast cancer cells in the presence of VEGF-C and its expression with lymph node metastasis close. Detection of VEGF-C expression likely to have lymph node metastasis in human breast cancer prediction and therapeutic value.
