Patient with stroke has lower control with the regulation of body balance. That due to theorgan’s damage. It results the patient loss the normal life. Balance is the primary conditionthat they can live independently, so the balance of accurate, objective evaluation is veryimportant. Widely used clinical scale method is more dependent on physician experience. Theobjectivity is poor. Compared to it, the instrument assessed is more objective and accurate. Atpresent, the force platform used in the dynamic and static balance measurements. However,due to the effect of the visual, emotion and other factors in the progress of passive movementmeasurement, the evaluation results have high degree of dispersion. This study focuses on thelack of detection equipment in the balance take some works as follow:Firstly, for the inadequate of the current balance’s instrument, it proposes the evaluationof body balance in the passive movement. The6DOF motion platform imposes translationaland rotational incentive to the measured and force detection in different directions. Based onthe volatility curve and incentive response theory, it abstracts the recovery process of gravity’scenter into a typical second-order system model structure. It uses the gravity’s center data tocalculate the regulation time.Secondly, in the computer using the combination of LabVIEW and MySQL, it designsthe evaluation system of body balance. The software has real-time display of the center ofgravity projection, data storage, user information stored, the calculation of balance index andother functions.Thirdly, it uses orthogonal test method to design the test. It uses SPSS to analysis thereliability of the test results. Finally, according to the experimental results of the passivemovement of body balance, it finds the characteristics of the body adjustment process underthe passive motion. It can be adopted different amplitudes of pulses incentive, according tothe different situations of the patients in clinical. It has consistent evaluation result.The evaluation system includes dynamic and static body balance evaluation, and bodybalance in the passive movement evaluation. It makes the case analysis about static body balance ability evaluation index. According to the results analysis, it has the linear region ofbody balance’s adjustment process in the passive movement.
