Lonicera macranthodes Hands-Mazz. is an main varietiy of "xianglei" Honeysuckles and one of buLk cuLtivated Traditional Chinese Medicinal materials in Hunan province.L.Macrathodes Hands-Mazz.was included with 2005 edition of People’s Republic of China Pharmacopoeia and was one of the sources of Flos Lonicerae.The cuLtivation techniques and effective chemical composition and pharmacological studies of L. Macrathodes Hands-Mazz. need to be further extensive and in-depth.The purpose of this study is to make a detailed comparative study of effective chemical composition of the content and HPLC fingerprint between L. Macrathodes Hands-Mazz. And Flos Lonicerae japonica, for further development and use of lay the foundation.Methods:To establish a HPLC method for the determination of chlorogeni cacid,Caffeic acid, Rutinum, Hyperin and Luteolin in different species of Lonicera L. Macrathodes Hands-Mazz. And Flos Lonicerae japonicas.The HPLC finger-prints of Honeysuckles were established through studying many methods.We analysed 19 finger-prints of L. Macrathodes Hands-Mazz. and Determined the total peak.Result and Conclusion:1.we choosed a better extraction program through comparing the extracted time and extracted solventia.2.Linear relationship, Precision, Reproducibility and samples’stability are goog better.In addition, the samples’recovery rate is also within the scope of the qualified.3.The content of five effective chemical composition was detected in 28 samples by HPLC.The resuLt showed that their contents are different. L. Macrathodes Hands-Mazz. Contain the highest content of chlorogenic acid.4.We established detecting methods with fingerprint chromatograp for the flos lonicerae .The method is sensitive accurale and can be used for the quality control of L. Macrathodes Hands-Mazz..5.The scope of similarity is 0.900-0.996.
