A mount of farmed sturgeons which appeared a large number of deaths in a sturgeon flowing water farm of Anhui Province at August, 2015. The diseased sturgeon body floating on the water without obvious symptoms until death. Pathological anatomy indicate all diseased individuals showed symptoms of liver congestion, swelling, texture, partial hard, most affected individuals with spleen, intestinal hyperemia and edema, gill filament ends blackening symptoms. In order to clear the diagnosis and treatment of such diseases of farmed sturgeon, the first work is researching the pathological changes and pathogenesis analysis.9 sturgeons collected from 3 batches of samples the field(grand total 41), who with obvious symptoms were determined to be dissected and the tissue were observed by conventional paraffin section preparation method. The results showed that No.1、No.2、No.3、No.9 sample appearance obvious pathological changes of hepatic tissue, liver tissue of diffuse fiber hyperplasia atypical hepatic fibrosis; splenic hyperemia, vacuolar degeneration, necrosis; stomach、inflammatory cell infiltration、intestinal hyperemia, necrosis of the intestinal villi, shedding; other organs tissues(gill, heart, etc.) present slight inflammation and congestion. According to the organ symptoms and tissue lesion reference related research,determine the case for sturgeon liver disease, the specific diagnosis is sturgeon liver cirrhosis. Summarizing the sturgeon liver cirrhosis organ and tissue pathological diagnosis features are: liver congestion and ulcer; liver ascites; inflammatory cell infiltration, liver blood sinus dilation, issue degeneration and tissue fibrosis.Another 5 tail of sick sturgeon were picked out breeding at the pet clinical laboratory aquarium of Shanghai Ocean University,execute every 1 months without feeding, No.1 natural death, other sturgeon liver、intestinal、spleen and kidney were totally improved. One of the most obvious improvement happened in liver, No.2~No.5 liver symptom like red and white flower shaped liver gradually transformed into the smooth surface of the red or light red and yellow soil which colour close to the health sturgeon liver and from No.2 there is no ulcer on liver surface phenomenon; By the congestion and swelling in the end of No.2 whole intestinal to slight swelling by No.5,4 kinds of intestinal tail disease also showed improvement in clinical response. Histopathology of liver tissue was also observed in the same fiber hyperplasia with duration of vacuolar degeneration to the benign development of the granular degeneration. The liver tissue structure from vague to clear, significantly reduce congestion, inflammation and other diseases by No.1 No. 5.In addition, other organs also showed from bleeding, swelling to slight swelling and even normal state. The test showed that the elimination of pathogenic factors suffering from cirrhosis of the liver disease in sturgeon can reduce or even reverse the liver fibrosis and sclerosis in a period of time. Furthermore, we infer the significance of pigment macrophage center and its reversal in the process of treatment、prevention and control measures of this liver cirrhosis disease.Suspected epidemic investigation on the mortality of the disease outbreak of a large area of pathogens or cause was developing by means of the water quality detection, pathogen identification. Results show the dissolved oxygen、nitrite、ammonia nitrogen, heavy metals and other water quality indexes were all in the normal breeding range of indicators. The purified bacteria collected from lesion through Gram staining, biochemical reaction and 16 S rRNA was identified as Aeromonas hydrophila. But the impact of the pathogenesis and characteristics of clinical symptoms and the A.hydrophila of sturgeon are quite different, with the popular mortality and medication of this disease excluded A.hydrophila as lethal factor; Epidemic mortality survey showed that the increasing tendency of sturgeon death coincided with the feed time, then investigate the feedstuff sources, quality, storage and other survey found more reason to believe that feedstuff could be the important factor of the disease outbreak. With the feed containing fish poisons on the histopathological study concluded that feed have great effect on the outbreak of the disease and large-scale farms of sturgeon died, pathogenic factors can not be ignored.
