The technology of variable rate fertilization is an important part of modern precision agriculture, it is also one of the development direction of future fertilization technology at the same time. Variable fertilization is farmland crop yields in different spatial data and other multi-layer data(soil physical and chemical properties, controlling insects pests and climate conditions, etc.) for composite analysis, the nutrition expert system and crop growth models to support, with high yield, high quality and environmental protection as the ultimate goal, combined with the specific crop production of agronomic requirements such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, organic fertilizer with scientific ratio, using the tools in the field of variable rate fertilization precise fertilization.On consulting a large number of related literature at home and abroad and reference model, on the basis of comprehensive consideration of xinjiang cotton production requirements, agronomic requirements and the development trend of the technology of variable rate fertilization, with reference to general technical principles and design requirements, design a set of programs about double variable fertilizer applicator based on outer groove wheel type fertilizer discharging device,by adjusting the variable fertilizer machine spindle speed and distributing effective working length of groove wheel distributing device to realize the double variable fertilization. Combined with domestic and foreign relevant models of the implementation and control of variable rate fertilization method, design a closed loop double variable fertilization control system based on the IPC as upper computer and the MCU as lower computer.According to the outer groove wheel type fertilizer distributor, a double adjusting mechanism for the rotation speed of the main shaft of the fertilizer machine and the opening of fertilizer distributor is designed based on the electric control hydraulic transmission, check the tractor hydraulic pump, and according to the requirement of the machine select the hydraulic motor. According to cotton production in xinjiang agricultural demands and the concrete implementation plan of the double variable fertilization, the frame of fertilizing machine, granular fertilizer box, ditching soil covering device and other institutions were designed In order to guarantee the machine running safety and reliability, using computer simulation technology, The finite element analysis of the whole machine frame is made by using ANSYS software,and the modal analysis of fertilizer discharging main shaft was carried out. The analysis results show that the double variable machinery are in a state of full load, its frame work, meet safety conditions; Fertilizer machine spindle design satisfies the requirement of practical application work The prototype test and inspection, in accordance with the design idea, the prototype trial manufacture and testing are carried out,and the key components of the variable rate fertilizing machine- the production process of the main shaft of the fertilizer machine are studied and opener, provides reference for product on the market for mass production.
