Chinese banana plantation ditching fertilization is still in a state of artificial operation.Therefore,developing banana plantation self-propelled punching applicator is of great significance for mechanization of banana production.This paper is based on the design requirements of variable position-depth-rate fertilization,use the operation mode of punching fertilization,designing the key parts and hydraulic system of banana plantation self-propelled punching applicator,studying on the punching performance test and fertilizer precision performance test,and conducting multiple regression analysis between the main operating parameters and the test indexes,expected to optimize the key parts of fertilize applicator.To realize the mechanized deep-root fertilizing of banana,a self-propelled punching fertilizer applicator for banana plantation with variable position-depth-rate fertilization was developed.According to the banana plantation variable depth-position-rate agronomic requirements,designed the overall structure,punching structure,fertilizer application mechanism and main technical parameters of the self-propelled punching fertilizer.Besides,studying the relationship between punching parts force and punching depth,punching velocity,punching parts diameter,punching parts taper,based on LabVIEW software,build a punching parts performance test-bed.Analysis on the settling process of self-propelled punching fertilizer applicator,Taking the peak resistance of punching as an index,a single factor test is made on the platen diameter,punching taper and punching settling velocity,analyzed the relationship between each factor and the peak value of punching resistance.Optimizing the punching mechanism parameters and reducing the fertilizer applicator fuel consumption.Based on the requirements of maximizing fertilization efficiency,determining punching taper 40 ° and punching settling velocity 0.15m/s as the best parameter combination.The regression test was carried out with the peak punching resistance as the test index,using SPSS software for regression analysis.Calculate the regression equation of the peak punching resistance with the punching depth and punching parts diameter,and provide basis for decision-making of punching.The fertilization experiment test was carried out to analyze the precision of the fertilizer discharge mechanism.In addition,the stability experiment test of the groove wheel speed and the groove wheel helix angle can optimize the fertilizer mechanism.
