The basic research of Moina mongolica Sars has been more thorough, but culture technique is still not enough; at the same time, due to the large number of industrial and agricultural sewage pulled, result in organic pollutants into enviroment and aquatic water be serious polluted. This paper based on the basis of previous research, through on Moina mongolica Sars population culture conditions and organic pollutants of toxicity study research, thus can provides a theoretical basis for Moina mongolica Sars large-scale artificial cultivation. The research contents and results are as follows:In cultivation technology optimization of population research, the study was divided into three parts that use the appropriate temperature, light, salinity and p H, comparison of different stocking rate, filling the air and pure oxygen and different rate of daily harvesting to population density and daily production. The results showed that: in 4 stocking rates: 40, 80, 150, 300 ind·d-1, after 36 days of culture population reached 1 959±72.72, 2 967±155.65, 3 608±180.52 and 4 631±97.77 ind·d-1;Daily output and the intrinsic rate of increase followed by 53±2 g.m-3.d-1 and 0.189, 80±4 g.m-3.d-1 0.177, 96±5 g.m-3.d-1 0.159 and 120±3 g.m-3.d-1 0.155.There were difference significant between the different stocking rates among the groups and daily output(P < 0.05).In pure oxygen and air group, after 36 days, filled with pure oxygen, the highest population density reached 5 832±107.31 ind·d-1; daily output and the intrinsic growth rate 158.03±3.02 g.m-3.d-1 and 0.164. The different recovery group, 20% is best for population growth, 10% next, 30% is go against for population growth. The toxic effect of four organic solvents to Moina mongolica, the experiment results showed that benzene, xylene, dichloromethane and carbon tetrachloride on Moina mongolica 24 h LC50 were 1.257, 0.101, 0.398 and 0.106 ml·L-1 and 48 h LC50 were 106.3, 0.003 7, 0.045 and 0.025 9 ml·L-1, safe concentration were 0.228, 0.003 7, 0.045 and 0.025 9 ml·L-1.Four kinds of organic pollutants belong to highly toxic or highly toxic substances, and showed a decreasing trend with the concentration increasing in the total number, the time and number of first fetal, the number of Daphnia from single parent, total fetal number and the intrinsic growth rate.
