The experiment was conducted to study effects of power of astragalus plant on growth performance, dietary nutrient digestibility, cecal fermentation and microbial flora of piglets,in order to provide the scientific reference for reasonable application for power of astragalus plant in piglets.Twenty-four crossbred pigs with good health and similar body weights were selected pigs were randomly divided into four treatments with three replications And each replication contained two pigs reared in the same house.Experimental treatments included the control group2.5%,5% and 7.5% power of astragalus plant group. The trial lasted 28 days including the seven-day pre-trial stage and twenty-one trial stage.Feed and water of pigs were ad libitum.Accurate records of intake in each group were made and observed feeding conditions and the health of pigs.At the end of the test, each randomly selected one pigs was slaughtered, sampling measurement of volatile fatty acids in the cecum and microbial flora. The results show that: adding different proportion of power of astragalus plant, group 5%and group 7.5% were significantly improve the average daily testing porcine feed intake and feed conversion ratio(P<0.05),but in the whole test period average daily weight gain was not significantly difference(P>0.05).With the amount of added power of astragalus plant, the nutrient digestibility were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Diet after add power of astragalus plant,to present a tendency of increasing the content of IL- 2 in the blood, and blood IgA,IgG,IgM all showed a trend of rise,in group 5% and 7.5%,the content of astragalus stem leaf IgG significant difference compared with control group(P<0.05).Differences in volatile fatty acid and pH content of fermentation to produce the cecum was not significant(P>0.05),but with the added amount of power of astragalus plant increased caecal pH had a decreasing tendency, acetic acid content increased, total volatile fatty acid content of up to 2.5% astragalus plant group, the best fermentation effect of astragalus plant group 2.5%.By high-throughput sequencing results analysis add power of astragalus plant table in a diet pigs cecum microbial diversity increased, the microorganism to Firmicutes and Bacteroidetes primarily, the content can reach 92%;in the cecum content found that Succinivibrio and Ruminococcus can decompose fiber material spp. there, along with the increase of the addition amount of straw has also increased its total.By the above research results show that, with the added amount of power of astragalus plant had little effect on the performance of fattening pigs, but it can significantly increase the average daily fees intake and feed conversion, significantly decrease the nutrient digestibilityand improve the microbial diversity of the cecum. In conclusion, the effect of 2.5% fermented corn stalks on feeding effect is the best...
