Low temperature in early spring is an important factor limiting high-yielding maize stable volume, its frequent severe impact on referred to as "the World Gold Corn Belt" of the Northeast spring corn production. Thus, identifying the strong cold tolerance of maize inbred lines of maize in Jilin Province and in-depth study of cold tolerance resistance, has become a research breeders and researchers were concerned. Maize Cold Tolerance is a complex genetic basis of quantitative traits, the result is more than the combined effects of genes, genetic analytic instructive for maize breeding, and adaptation have an important impact on the stability and corn. This test uses low-temperature identification model combining indoor and field were measured relative germination rate of germination, seedling conductivity, MDA content, peroxidase activity and seedling dry weight, height and statistics field emergence, 80 parts of Jilin maize inbred lines were chilling ability to identify, aimed at identification of cold tolerance and strong maize inbred lines in Jilin, Jilin Province, were 80 parts by cold-resistant maize inbred lines in maize breeding of new varieties of applications, maize molecular mechanism of cold tolerance and maize research provides the basis for molecular breeding. The main contents and results are as follows:1. Through the identification of indicators measured at low temperature field emergence and field height was a significant positive correlation can be evaluated as an indicator of cold tolerance of maize; POD activity decreased with increasing the amount of the amount of MDA ﹑field height, field emergence showed a significant negative correlation It can also be used to evaluate the maize of cold tolerance.2. Comprehensive index evaluation results show that the relative indoor germination rate at low temperature can be used as a reliable indicator of maize early identification of cold tolerance.3. Maize Cold Tolerance Evaluation Indicators 80 inbred lines into 4 groups: the first category comprises 31 species, accounting for 38.75%, moderate cold tolerance groups; second category contains25 species, accounting for 31.25%, are cold-sensitive; The third category contains 16 species, 20%, is a super-cold sensitive groups; The fourth category contains 8 species, accounting for 10%, is resistant to cold and strong groups.4. Cold Tolerance of single index and comprehensive index identification results are compared to obtain a degree of match between the two was 75%. Comprehensive identification results, 80 inbred lines of cold tolerance in maize inbred lines and strong total of six parts, namely K10(Hong Yu 416♀)﹑Dan340﹑KW5G321(De Mei Ya 2♀)﹑Zi330﹑KW1A139(De Mei Ya2♂) ﹑Ji 818.
