Leaf is the important organ for plant to conduct some main physidogical process, like photosyntheis, respriation and transpiration. Meanwhile, leaf is the indicator of output of a great many of brode leaf cuop. The change of the thickness of blade can give an index of the change of crops’physiological information. At the present stage, the structure of equipment which leafs thickness is conplicated and the equipment’s price is expensive. As for the rusults of some separation measurments in laboatary, while drying, are with high presision, they need a long period-they can’t be measured in a high speed and without elenaged. According to the knowledge of measuring plant’s physiological information and the theory on design of precise instrument, this paper develops a measuring equipment which can do the micro-order test.This paper introduces the progress of the program detailedly in the ways, like the design of the platform of measuring leaf’s thickness without damaged, the design of hardware electric circuit of the measuring equipment’s lower computer, the design of system software and other ways. The measuring platform this paper designed is quite defferent from other general measuring equipment. The platform has formed a closed-loop system with negative feedback. Also, the platform has done microscal adjustment to measuring staff with designed retarding mechanism and has made the designed equipment be able to establish the precision tasting, which preloading can be chage through pressure transducers’reaction to finish the measurement of micro-increasement of the leaf’s thickness without damaged. This paper designs all functional modules, like the hardware eletric circuit and software system,.The equipment usess CPU MSP430 as a core, signal detation comunication module. The equmipment meet users’ measuring leafs thickness real time dynamically and reqularly demand and it has the functions, like automatic detection, saving the data and changing with the upper computer with these funictional modules. Also, the equipment can meet the demand that its operation simple and convenient by using 7 buttons designed on the faceplate to input all kinds of orders.This paper has done calibration experiment on the design equipment and has used least square method fitting curve to establish the mathematical model. The measuring equipment has finished the actual measruement ad error evaluation & analysis. This paper has given out a detailed theoretical analysis ad and the correspording solution. The resolution ratio of the designed equipment can reach lum and its uncertainty of measurement can be smaller than 3um. With these statictics, the measuring equipment complies with the design requirements completely. Meanwile,the design and research of the measuring equipment can provide the subject of water-saving irrigation and precision agriculture with technical reference and theoretical support on a certain extent.
