Salvia officinalis is a herbaceous plant, with aromatic smell and strong adaptability. It has elegant color, and can blossom for a long time, so it is widely used in garden landscape. This article on the basis of previous studies, analysis the third part of Rooting Mechanism, Cuttings from tetraploid locust, and field test of single factor, and explore the Salvia officinalis cuttage rooting mechanism and the plant in Inner Mongolia numerous establish countermeasures. In order to expand the types of plants in the western region of Inner Mongolia, and to provide a theoretical basis and scientific basis for the promotion of large acreage. It is of great significance to realize the development and utilization of plant landscape value, economic value, ecological value and human value. The results of this study are as follows:(1)Cutting experiment:In L16(44) orthogonal experiment, the maximum rooting rate is 100%,the maximum root dry weight was 2.08, maximum root length was 9.9. Orthogonal test, the optimal combination for A4B4C1D3 that in the matrix ratio of 5:5, the cuttings were the whole plant, the length of the cuttings was 5cm, and the rooting powder concentration was 1000ppm.Salvia officinalis softwood cutting rooting rate, root length, root dry weight to achieve optimal.(2)Verification test:The experimental results of T2(A4B4C1D3) are consistent with the experimental results of the optimal combination of T1(A4B4CiD3) with orthogonal test.(3)Single factor field test:The survival rate was higher and no obvious difference between the three treatments of the Salvia officinal. The rank of influence on the effects of growth and physiological indexes such as the average growth rate of seedling height, leaf area and crown, root dry weight and chlorophyll content are the same, planting after the first film mulching>bare planting> furrow planting.
