With paying attention to international endangered wildlife, the demand for the status of imports and exports of endangered wildlife is increasing. For further strengthen the management on the imports and exports of endangered wildlife in China, it needs to carry out in-depth research for the status and dynamic change of endangered wildlife.This paper was based on the existing research and carried out an empirical study of China to imports and exports of endangered wildlife. By analyzing the annual data of China’s import and export of endangered wildlife, it explored the dynamic changes of imports and exports species, purposes and sources. Then it also explored the domestic and foreign policy factors which had different influence in the purpose of the imports and exports of endangered wildlife.Firstly, this paper arranged and analyzed the data of the imports and exports of endangered wild animals in China from 1976 to 2013. Secondly, according to the general and endangered wildlife species typical import and export situation, this paper analyzed of its imports and exports volume, number of species, imports and exports sources, it also explored annual change in purpose, national distribution, trends and characteristics of the species category. Thirdly, this paper constructed a panel data model about the imports and exports of wildlife and did data stability and significance test. Finally, this paper was based on CITES convention and combined with dynamic analysis. And it got the result about the Chinese imports and exports situation of endangered wildlife species typical policy analysis. Then this paper made recommendations about the strengthening of wildlife management and protection of wildlife resources.
