Introduction Of Populus Euphratica And It’s Growth Characteristics And Influencing Factors In Beijing

Urban Urban greening is seeking for an ecosystem with the harmony between people and nature, focusing on urban landscaping and colors. Based on the outstanding problems of single species and monotone color in afforestation in Beijing, making selection of good landscapes trees of Northern China that suitable for Beijing area, introducing the rare species of Populus euphratica in the oasis of Northwest arid area, making afforestation and landscape demonstration in wetlands of Beijing plains, fluctuation band around reservoir and wetland of mountain valley. Analyze the growth adaptability of Populus euphratica in Beijing by monitoring the introduced three types of Populus euphratica from the aspects of growth, phonological phase and the color change of leaves and provide theoretical and practical foundations to introduction of Populus euphratica, growth characteristic monitoring and Beijing color-leafed species introduction. This research makes growth characteristic monitoring and phonological phase monitoring, analyzes the plant growth situation on the basis of DBH, height, crown width, leaf growth, leaf color change and other observing data. It is found out that the survival rate of Populus euphratica big seedlings is 77%, Populus euphratica medium seedlings is 71% and Populus euphratica sprout is 88%,The survival rate of euphrates poplar by introduction in Beijing area is relatively high in the year of introduction. The completely degree of the root during the lifting of seedlings from provenance has an important influence on the survival rate after transplanting. Besides, from the survival rate of biennial seedlings of euphrates poplar and their growing situations (The survival rate of euphrates poplar seedlings by seedling recovering and fertilized with rooting powders is as high as 91%.), it could be seen that in order to improve the survival rate of euphrates poplar seedlings and their growing rate, seedling recovering and processing with rooting powders should be carried out in time and reasonably. The data table shows that, compared with Ejin, the color phase of euphrates poplar in Beijing has extended. The extension of the display season of yellow euphrates poplar leaves makes the ornamental value advantages of colored trees more prominent. Lastly, summarize the techniques in each step of introduction and cultivation. Introduced by the Beijing area Populus euphratica growth adaptability and phenological characteristics and test observations, Beijing area suitable for planting introduced Populus euphratica and grew well, initially explored Populus euphratica techniques and methods in Beijing area cultivated.
