| This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different calcium and phosphorus dietary levels on growth performance, various nutrients apparent digestibility and related blood indicators of 11-14 months growing buffalo, to give some data about the growth of buffalo feeding standard.Experiment one:Tewenty eight 11~14 months health growing water buffalo with similar body weight were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups with 7 water buffaloes in each group. The concentrate calcium level in 4 groups were 0.35%,0.8%,1.25% and 1.7%, respectiley. The whole trial period was lasted 52 days with 10 days pre-feeding period and 42 days feeding period, the last four days of the feeding period used to do the digestion and metabolism experiment, on 1 d and 36 d morning before feeding of feeding experiment period, the buffalo growth index were determined and the blood samples were also collected. The results showed that:1) Feeding different levels of diet calcium on 11~14 months growth buffalo have significant influence on dry matter intake (P< 0.05), there was no significant influence on average daily gain and the die weight ratio (P> 0.05), experiment 3 group had a significantly higher dry matter intake of buffalo among four groups, four groups of growing water buffalo growth average daily gain were 703.49 g,648.84 g,741.86 g and 693.02 g respectively, group 3 have the highest value of ADG among four groups.2) Feeding different levels of diet calcium on 11 ~14 months growing water buffalo have no significant influence on dry matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid washing apparent digestibility of fiber (P> 0.05), but for the apparent digestibility calcium and phosphorus there were significant (P< 0.01), the apparent digestibility of calcium in the group 2 of water buffalo was 37.89% higher than the other three groups and was significant higher than that in the group 4, the apparent digestibility of phosphorus of group 2 in water buffalo was 44.74%,it was significantly higher than group 3 and 4.3) with the increase of diet calcium levels, the concentration and excretion of fecal calcium, urinary calcium were significantly increased (P<0.01), but the effects on the blood calcium concentration difference was not significant (P>0.05).4) There was no significant difference on the affect of blood alkaline phosphatase, bone gla protein, calcitonin lever feeding different levels of diet calcium on 11-14 months growing water buffalo (P>0.05), the blood alkaline phosphatase activity increased with the diets calcium content increase, different level of calcium diets has a significant difference on Blood Parathyroid hormone and 25 dihydroxy Cholecalciferol levels of 11-14 months growing buffalo (P< 0.05). the Blood Parathyroid hormone and 25 dihydroxy Cholecalciferol level decreased With the diets calcium content increase, and the group 4 was significantly lower than group 1.Experiment two:Tewenty four 11-14 months health growing water buffalo with similar body weight were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups with 6 water buffaloes in each group. The concentrate phosphorus level in 4 groups were 0.50%,0.75%,1.0% and 1.25%, respectiley. The results showed that:1) Feeding different levels of diet Phosphorus on 11-14 months growth buffalo have no significant influence on dry matter intake and average daily gain (P< 0.05), there was significant influence on the die weight ratio (P>0.05), experiment 1 group had a significantly lower die weight ratio of water buffalo than other three groups, four groups of growing water buffalo growth average daily gain were 342.11 g, 444.74 g,486.84 g and 471.49 g respectively, group 3 have the highest value of ADG among four groups.2) Feeding different levels of diet phosphorus on 11-14 months growing water buffalo have significant influence on dry matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid washing apparent digestibility of fiber (P< 0.05), there was significant difference for the apparent digestibility of phosphorus (P< 0.01), but there was no significant difference for the apparent digestibility of calcium (P> 0.05), the apparent digestibility of phosphorus in the group 3 of water buffalo was58.00% higher than the other three groups, with the increase of diet phosphorus levels.3) The concentration and excretion of fecal calcium, urinary calcium were significant difference with the increase of diet phosphorus levels (P<0.05).4) Feeding different levels of diet phosphorus on 11-14 months growing buffalo, there was no significant difference on the nitrogen utilization.5) There was no significant difference on the affect of blood Aldosterone, Parathyroid hormone,25-dihydroxy Cholecalciferol and alkaline phosphatase lever feeding different levels of diet phosphorus on 11-14 months growing water buffalo (P>0.05), but the effects on the blood Bone Gla protein and Blood urea nitrogen concentration difference was significant (P<0.05), the blood Bone Gla protein, Aldosterone and Blood urea nitrogen increased, the Alkaline phosphatase activity decreased with the diets phosphorus content increase.6) With the increase of diet phosphorus levels, the effects on the blood calcium and Phosphorus concentration difference was not significant (P>0.05). |
