The transgenic insect-resistant and glyphosate-tolerant maize "Shuangkangl2-6" with crylAb/cry2Aj fusion gene and GlOevo-epsps is a new variety of maize,we can get it by transferring the optimized insect-resistant gene crylAb/cry2Aj and G10evo-epsps into the receptor through the agrobacterium-mediated method. The test used crylAb and cry2Aj fusion gene.which can utilize 2 kinds of Bt genes with the same expression quantity. The 2 genes’ expressing at the same time may prevent insect resistance from happening, and thus can do good to long-time use of transgenic insect-resistant maize. Meanwhile, the glyphosate-tolerant gene(epsps) is a 5--pyruvate-3-phosphate synthase from chloroplast. Both in the earlier laboratory tests and field experiments,the transgenic maize "Shuangkang12-6" showed good resistance to insects and Glyphosate.We conducted production trials in Zhejiang University experimental farm in 2014-2015, studying on the glyphosate-resistance and living competitiveness of transgenic maize " Shuangkang12-6" and its effect on weeds variety, the results are showed as follows:1)The experiment of spraying herbicide glyphosate in the filed showed that:in the three treatments of without spraying herbicides, herbicide spraying the recommended amount, double the recommended amount, the transgenic maize" Shuangkangl2-6" has high tolerance to Roundup, no matter 1、2 or 4 weeks after spraying, it had no obvious effect on its grow-up, while the common variety "Zhengdan958" was very sensitive to Roundup and it died in a week after spraying herbicide. On the other side.herbicide’s spraying had no effect on yield of transgenic maize.2)The experiment of transgenic maize’competitiveness in the field showed that:the transgenic maize"Shuangkangl2-6" and the common variety did not have difference on field competitiveness on wasteland; while they did not have difference on the height maize coverage and yield in the field,3)The experiment of transgenic maize’influence on variety of weed in the filed showed that:the transgenic maize did not have difference on weed variety and their density, so the "Shuangkangl2-6" has no obvious effect on weed variety in the field.
