In order to be more suitable for the rice seeding-growing under the cold ecological conditions and agronomic requirements of rice transplanting. Then a rice paper tray had been designed. But because of artificial low production efficiency, high cost and low accuracy, it is difficult to promote the use of large area. The size precision and mechanical properties of the paper tray structure were obtained by the analysis of the agronomic requirements of rice transplanting. According to the structure size and mechanical properties requirements of seeding-growing tray, a rice paper tray forming machine was designed. The prototype has the advantages of simple structure, low power consumption and high production efficiency, which can satisfy the requirement of rice tray transplanting. The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) Analysis on agronomic requirements of rice seedling-transplantingAccording to rice transplanting agronomic requirements, the precision and mechanical properties of paper tray were obtained. According to the design requirements and the theory of paper tray forming request designed paper tray forming machine.(2) Design of key parts of forming machine and virtual prototypeAccording to the requirement of the paper tray forming, the Key components of the forming machine were designed. The paper tray forming machine parts were established by using Solid Works and interference inspection. Then the holing-forming device for virtual prototyping had been simulation analysis, and the cylinder piston rod had been static analysis.(3) Prototype test analysis and data processingAccording to the structure of the virtual prototype, the forming molding machine was finished. Single factor experiment and three factors five levels orthogonal experiment were carried out to establish mathematical model equation between each influencing factor and the target value, analyzing the primary and secondary order of the forming tray qualified rate of each factor contribution: heating temperature, pressure molding, retention time pressure, using MATLAB to optimize the equation to obtain the optimal parameter combination. The holdingtime: 10 s, the heating temperature: 107.25℃, forming pressure: 20 N, the tray qualified rate is93.5%. According to the optimal solution carrying out verification test, the qualified rate is close to theoretical value, which indicates that the rice tray forming machine can meet the design requirements.
