The truss-arch plastic greenhouse has been widely applied to agricultural production with the advantage of simple structure, convenient construction and destruction, lower one-time cost. However, as its light structure, large span, small section, the truss-arch structure is sensitive to snow and wind pressure. Therefore, many plastic greenhouses break down because of heavy wind and snow which leads to great economic loss. Greenhouse belongs to neither civil building nor industrial building. The design of greenhouse is not based on the industry standard of civil engineering. Currently, the size and shape of the greenhouse is considered to be important in designing greenhouse at present, while safety and durability is not considered. Many plastic greenhouses are designed, processed and installed by rice seedling shed factories. Thus, the shape of greenhouses is various, the quality of greenhouses is different, both are not up to standard.This thesis is a experimental study of the mechanical behaviors of truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame, based on the current situation of greenhouses wide application and poor quality. This thesis also studies the effects and possibilities of grouting cement paste into truss-arch plastic greenhouse upper frame to reinforce greenhouse. The explanation is as follow:(1)Designing and manufacturing a 6 meter full-size 6 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame, con the basis of upper chord inter-nodal slenderness ratio, structure overall rise-span ratio, and truss-arch height. It consists of a 2 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame with grouted upper steel pipe and a 4 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame. Finishing the experiment of the mechanical behaviors of 6 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame under the mode of quinquesection point vertical load. The elementary data such as distortion, bearing capacity, experimental phenomena, destructive process and method of the of 6 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame is got and analyzed. And the fundamental recognition of 6 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame’s bearing capacity if formed.(2) Using Ansys, a finite element analysis system, to establish model of 6 structure truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame. Then taking simulation analysis of truss-arch plastic greenhouse frame on the condition of vertical load. Analyzing from experiment’s result, then proving the correctness and reliability of finite element analysis.(3) The experiment analyzes mechanical behaviors of uniaxial compressive strength of cement paste. The use of the self-made truss-arch plastic greenhouse auto-balancing devices ensures the smooth running of the truss-arch plastic greenhouse experiment.This thesis provides source material for the study on the intake of truss-arch plastic greenhouse.
