In order to understand the effect of potash fertilizer to soil nutrient, vegetative growth, fruit yield and quality, and discuss the demand rule of potash and reasonable fertilization formula, a potassium gradient test were set up to solve the soil potassium deficiency problem.(1) The research of soil nutrient at different potassium levelIn this paper, intensive farming nutrient management research were analyzed based on nitrogen and phosphorus at different level, the results show that:the difference of soil nutrient at different fertilization level is significant, especially the rapidly available potassium. At on-year, October 2011, reduce potassium fertilizer application at flowering period after fruit picking; and increase potassium fertilizer application at fruit-setting period.(2) The research of vegetative growth at different potassium levelThe effect of potassium fertilizer to vegetative growth of Camellia oleifera Abel is regular, the spring twig research at major and minor year research after fertilization showed that:potassium has significant influence on the spring twig length of Camellia oleifera Abel on-year; however the effect is relatively small in 2012. The varying pattern of greenness (SPAD) and leaf area variation of Changlin Camellia oleifera Abel strain:greenness (SPAD) and leaf area growth with stand age, in autumn is higher than spring, however, the outcome is quite opposite in 2012. It indicates that the growth of Camellia oleifera Abel at on-year needs a lot of nutrients. Improve nutrient situation, greenness SPAD and leaf area, by increasing potassium fertilizer application. However, lots of nutrient is consumed after fruit picking and flower, so it affects the SPAD and leaf area in June and November next year, showing that Camellia oleifera Abel nutrient pattern of major and minor year is very complex, and adjust the fertilizer treatments frequently is needed.(3) The research of fruit yield and quality at different potash fertilizerAs for Changlin 53 strain, K1 treatment is beneficial for improving fruit yield and quality, K3 treatment can eliminate the fruit quality difference at major and minor year. Low-potassium is not good for improving fruit quality in major year; however, K4 can improve fruit quality in minor year. As for Changlin 27 strain, K3 treatment is beneficial for improving fruit quality,Kl treatment can eliminate the fruit quality difference with sound effects. High and middle potash gradient is beneficial for improving Changlin 27 strain fruit quality. It means that different strain have different the potash nutrient needs, so strain difference must be considered when fertilizing.(4) Fruit yield and quality correlation analysisChanglin 53 strain’s fruit yield is negatively correlate with its quality at on-year, and positively correlate at minor year. Changlin 27 strain’s fruit yield is negatively correlate with its quality at on-year.(5) 13 different index analyzed by APCA. The soil nutrient, vegetative growth, fruit yield and quality vary with potash fertilizer level. The ranking of Changlin 53 strain is K2>K1>K4>K3>K5>KOCK, meaning that appropriate amount potash fertilizer is needed to balance vegetative growth and reproductive growth. The ranking of Changlin 27 strain is K2>K3>K1>K4>K5>KOCK.
