Wheat stripe rust is one of the most important diseases serously affect the wheat production.In the event of yield losses can reach more than 10%, even serious to crop failures。At present, cultivating resistant varieties are recognized as the most economic and effective means of control wheat stripe rust. Wild emmer (Triticum. dicoccoides,2 n= 4 x= 28, AABB) is the secondary gene pool of hexaploid common wheat for exploiting desired resistance genes especially for stripe rust,powelery mildew and enhancing the micronutrients(eg:Zn and Fe) of commerical wheat breeding practices,In this study,the resistant parent TaAy7-40 was ordinary derived from wild emmer wheat introgressive department, who male parent was wild emmer D97 and female parent was chuannongl6.Aftter many years of continuous identify that TaAy7-40 showed high resistance to mixed physiological races in the field.In order to clearing TaAy7-40 resistant genetic traits, we studied hybrid combinations that TaAy7-40 as resistant parent and chuanmai 28 as susceptible parent The hybirds F1,F2 and F2:3 for stripe rust resistance genetic analysis and initial positioning stage of SSR markers. Results showed that the TaAy7-40 appear susceptible for striope rust at seeding stage while become high resistant at adult stage. The F1 population appear high resistant at adult stage that indicating TaAy7-40 had adult-plant resistant and meaning it is dominant inheritance.The F2 and F23 population analysis showed that the resistance of TaAy7-40 may be controlled by one major dominant gene. Based on the separation packet analysis (BSA),we used SSR molecular marker technology to locating relevent gene.We finded a locus markers Xgwm146 that it linked to the resistance gene,both gentic distance was 31.1cM. Accordingly, the preliminary speculation TaAy7-40 carries stripe rust resistance gene is located on chromosome 7B of wheat.
