| Gastrodia elata BI.has been used medicinally for thousands of years in China, exhibiting a remarkably broad range of biological activities, such as sedation, analgesia, anticonvulsant, anti-aging, improving memory, microcirculation and immune function. Gastrodia elata planted in the Yingjing, where has been confirmed as the suitable ecological region in Sichuan province for Gastrodia elata, named as "mingma", was awarded as the national geographical indications of agricultural products in 2012 for its good quality.In this paper, comparing with other products from the main producing areas in China, the contents of gastrodin, the polysaccharides, amino acids and trace elements in 25 samples of Gastrodia elata from Yingjing County, were investigated. And its HPLC fingerprint was drawn.The contents of gastrodin in Yingjing Gastrodia elata, determined by HPLC, were 0.157%-0.236%, the average was 0.21%,reachPharmacopoeia (2010 version) 0.2% of the requirements. The contents of polysaccharides, determined by phenol-sulfuric acid method, were 12.21%-31.29%, the average was 22.97%,recommended that the content is not less than 20% as a quality evaluation indicator, The total amino acid contents, determined by the Hitachi L-8800 automatic amino acid analyzer, to determine, were 230.80 mg/g-375.39 mg/g, the average was 288.65 mg/g,recommended that the total amino acid content is not less than 230.80mg/g as a quality evaluation indicator. The contents of the trace elements were measured by the lame atomic absorption spectrometer, among which the contents of Fe and Mn were higher. Then theHPLC fingerprint of Gastrodia elata in Yingjing was constructed.It is the first time for the systematic study of Yingjing Gastrodia elata, which is used for its comprehensive quality evaluation. |
