Isatis indigotica Fort.belongs to the plant family Cruciferae. Indigowoad Root, which is widely used as a kind of herbal medicine in China, is its dry root. Indigowoad Root is bitter and cold with the functions of removing heat, cooling blood and curing throat. Pharmacological studies have shown that Indigowoad Root is provided with a variety of anti-bacterial and anti-virus components, which can enhance immunity and prevent SARS from spreading. In clinical medicine, it is mainly used for curing influenza, epidemic parotitis, chronic pharyngitis, anemopyretic cold, etc. It is a major material for making various Chinese herbal medicine (i.e. Indigowoad Root Granules, Compound Indigowoad Root Granules, etc.) and Indigowoad Root herbal tea. In recent years, with the increasing consumption and health awareness, the demand of Indigowoad Root is increasing as well. Therefore, it is widely planted around China. However, due to different geographical environment and planting management, medicinal materials from different places have great differences both in output and quality, so the quality can not be guaranteed. As a result of that, it is very important to conduct the researches of key technologies and quality control in standardized planting of Isatis indigotica Fort. This study mainly includes the following contents.1. The influence of planting to its morphological features, output and quality. It determines suitable time for seeding according to the influence of different seeding times to morphological features, output and quality of Isatis indigotica Fort., which also provides a theoretical basis for standardized planting and production of Isatis indigotica Fort. Considering the factors of rational rotation, increased utilization ratio of land and yield, the suitable sowing date of Isatis indigotica was during the period of time from late May to be gan June in Fuyang area, Anhui Province.2. The influence of planting density to its growth trends and output. This research aims to study the influence of different planting density to the growth trends and output of Isatis indigotica Fort., which also provides a theoretical basis for standardized planting and production of Isatis indigotica Fort. According to the dry matter of root and leaf, treatment B (ie.25 cm X 7 cm) was the best choice.3. Analysis of the correlation between different growth characteristics in planting and output of single plant. By collecting 13 copies of materials about Isatis indigotica Fort, plant, it takes a research in the correlation between different growth characteristics in planting and the output of single plant, through field comparison test, so as to provide a theoretical reference for high-output planting and high-quality planting screening in standardized production base of Isatis indigotica Fort. The number of leaves per plant and root length was selected for high-yield lines, meanwhile, leaf length and leaf diameter was important for breeding high yield lines as well.4. The influence of planting density to its chemical compositions. Through the research of dynamic accumulation of indirubin in alcohol extract, adenosine and Indigowoad Leaf under different planting density, it provides a theoretical basis for determining reasonable planting density and standardized planting and production of Isatis indigotica Fort. Considering the factors of yield and quality, the planting density was set as 25 cm×7 cm in Fuyang area in Anhui Province. |
