Feed additive is added in the process of feed production and processing, use a small amount of trace substances, or very little in the feed amount, but the effect is remarkable. It has obvious effects in improving the nutrition value of feed, improving the production performance of animals, animal health, saving the cost of feed, improving the quality of animal products, etc. This study explored the effects of a compound additive on productive performance and health condition of perinatal dairy cows by test 1, and the effects of a compound additive on the health condition and production performance of high producing dairy cows on test 2.Test 1:Study on the effects of a compound additive on productive performance and health condition of perinatal dairy cows. The 16 perinatal dairy cows with similar age, weight and calving date were divided into 2 groups randomly (n=8),one was the control group (basal diet),and the other was the treated group (basal diet Plus 1.0% compound additive),the experiment lasted for 40 days, including 10 days pre-experiment.Feed intake, milk yields, milk compositions (fat, protein, and lactose) and breast health condition were measured. [Result] The results showed as followsrthe milk yield of the treated group was increased by 7.18 kg and 7.75 kg significantly than the control group in the 10th day and 15th day after parturition (P<0.05);the lactose and non-fat solid were increased by 0.31% and 0.59% than the control group (P<0.05),The treated group milk protein content, total dry matter as compared with the control group have increased, but the difference was not significant (P>0.05); the treated group somatic cell count less than the control group, but the difference was not significant(P<0.05).[Conclusion] It can be concluded that compound additive could significantly improve the appetite, milk yields and productive performance of perinatal dairy cows.Test 2:Study on the effects of a compound additive on the health condition and production performance of high producing dairy cows. The 40 high producing dairy cows with similar age, weight and calving date were divided into 4 groups randomly (n=10),one was the control group (basal diet),and the other three were the treated groups(basal diet respectively plus 0.5%,0.8% and 1.0% compound additive), the experiment had lasted for 45 days, including 10 days pre-experiment. Feed intake, milk yields, milk compositions (fat, protein, and lactose)and breast health condition were measured. Research results show that the test period of seventh days, treated groups of milk yield significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05), but the test group Ⅲ milk yield compared with the control group no significant difference (P<0.05); Ⅱ treated group than in the control group of lactose rate was significantly decreased by 0.217%(P< 0.05). Group Ⅰ than the total dry matter and fat test group Ⅲ of dry matter were significantly increased by 0.931% and 0.297%(P<0.05);The test period of sixteenth days in Experiment Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ group milk yield than in the control group were increased, but only the first group compared with the control group significantly (P<0.05), or other groups compared with the control group, the difference was not significant (P<0.05), at the same time, various dairy ingredient difference were not significant (P>0.05); at the end of the test, test Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ group milk yield compared with the control group had improved, but only in treated groups and control group had significant difference (P<0.05), various dairy ingredient difference in each experimental group was not significant (P>0.05).The results show that:the addition of compound additives can remarkably improve the milk production of dairy cattle in the diets of high yielding dairy cows, without changing the milk composition, in addition amount was 0.5% and 0.8%, the effect is better.
