Panzhihua is one of the most areas to develop quality of flue-cured tobacco over the country which has its own advantages and characteristics. Yunyan 97 is a new breed be introduced.So,it’s very nessary to understand fully efficts of different nitrogen forms and potash varieties on growth,yield and quality of Yunyan 97 and optimize fertilization plan. The study was aimed at finding out efficts of different nitrogen forms and potash varieties on botanical, economic usability, appearance quality and chemical composition.The results of the research was as follows:1.The picth and grith can be increased to a certain extent and leaf area index can be well improved by increasing nitrate rate as the premise of control total nitrogen fertilizer. The results showed that when ammonium and nitrate was 50% to 50%,kinds of agronomic traits would be great improved at the growth of middle and later period and leaf area index increased 15.72% compared to ammonium and nitrate was 30% to 70%.2.Addition of Nitrate rate in a certain extent(30% to 50%) was good for increasing production, output value and the proportion of high middle tobacco(over 50%). While they would be decreased over the suitable range. To get a stable economic benefit, the suitable amount was NO3--N of 50%.3.The nitrate ratio increased from 30% to 50% was good for the color, maturity, leaf blade structure, identity, oil content, chromaticity grades, and the appearance quality comprehensive index of flue-cured tobacco, when this rate increased to 70%,all kinds of appearance quality index become to lower. To improve the appearance of flue-cured tobacco,the suitable amount was NO3--N:NH4+-N=50%:50%.The Total sugar, reducing sugar, tobacco potassium and total nitrogen content more appropriate and better internal coordination when nitrate rate was 50%,and compared to nitrate rate be 30%,the middle leaf’s total sugar and reducing sugar content decreased by 5.63% and 7.42% respectively, potassium content increased 8.96%; but total sugar, reducing sugar and nicotine content would increased and exceeding the appropriate range when nitrate rate become to 70%.4.There was no significant change at the beginning grown,the pitch, stem girth, leaf numbers and leaf area index didn’t showed obvious advantage when potassium application rate from 50% to 70% but at the late growing significantly promote pitch becomes longer,girth amplification and leaf area index increased greatly.The leaf area index increased 16.87% when potassium application rate from 30% to 70%.5.The production, output value and the proportion of high middle tobacco increased with potassium application rate which could be best increased when potassium application rate was 70%.At this rate, the output value reached 2297.85 yuan/667m2 and the proportion of high middle tobacco reaches to 84.31%. To get a well economic benefit.The suitable amount was potassium sulfate and potassium nitrate ratio of 30%:70%.6.Addition of potassium application rate in a certain extent was good for the color, maturity, leaf blade structure, identity, oil content, chromaticity grades, and the appearance quality comprehensive index of flue-cured tobacco. To improve the physical property of the upper leaves, the suitable amount was 30%: 70%.The chemical composition was more suitable and usability when potassium sulfate and potassium nitrate ratio was 30% to 70%,Potassium content in the leaf could be great addition while sugar to nicotine and nicotine content could be reduced in effect. TN, sugar content increased significantly when excessive potassium and over the standard quality tobacco content.
