Investigation And Analysis Of Landscape Plants In Yinchuan City

Garden plant is the main material for the construction of urbanlandscape architecture and it has many functions such as the protection of the ecological environment, the improving and beautifyingof urban microclimate and the living environment and so on.It also plays an irreplaceable role in keeping the balance of the ecological environment. At present, the research on the species and application of landscape plants in Yinchuan is still in the initial stage. This work selected several types of major urban greenbeltssuch as park greenbelts, street greenbelts, accessorygreenbelts and residential greenbelts to carry out the field investigation and sort out the datein 129 sampling places. The purpose is to understand the composition of garden plants, to discuss and analyze the existing problems and to provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of landscape architecture in Yinchuan city. This will have an important significance for promoting the sustainable development of garden construction in Yinchuan city. The main results are as follows:(1)Throughthe combination of field investigation and industry consolidation, the landscape plants in Yinchuan city were be studied, and the species and their application status and landscape effect of the landscape plants in Yinchuan city were comprehensively grasped. The landscape plants in Yinchuan cityhave the diversity of species. There are 287 species of garden plants, belonging to 68 families and 122 genera.There are 216 species of woody plants belonging to 35 families, 60 genera, of which 190 species belong to deciduous trees, others belong to evergreen trees. The proportion of the arbor and shrub is 6 to 5. The proportion of evergreenplants and deciduous plants is 1to7.3. There are 26 families, 35 genera and 58 species of colored plants. In Yinchuan City, 38 species of health care plants are found.It belongs to 18 families and 29 genera, includingarbor, shrub, vine etc.According to the survey, there are 12 ancient and famoustreesbelong to7 species in Yinchuan city, including 5 ancient trees belong to 4 species, 4 families and 4 genera, 7famous treesbelongto 3 species, 3 families and 3 genera. There are 10 speciesand 101 national key protection plants, belonging to 10 genera and 10 families.There are 71 species ofherbaceous flowers that belong to 33 families and 62 genera. Among them, there are 33 kinds of one or two year old flowers that belong to 21 families and 31 genera, 38 species of perennial herbs that belong to 18 families and 31 genera.(2) The problems in application of garden plant in Yinchuan city: garden plants are not rich; the allocation structure of arbor, shrub and grass is unreasonable; the kinds of color leafed plants are too few; the herbaceous plants are rich variety, but too few are applied in the landscape design.(3) Application suggestion of garden plants in Yinchuan City: It should be increased the garden plant species, and used a combination of arbor, shrub and grass configuration; using bright colors and prominent species to form the characteristics of the Yinchuan city; payingmore attention to the selection of fast-growing species and increasing theproportion between the fast-growing tree species and slow growing species.; improving the level of urban greenbelt plant and the diversity of landscape plants.
