In this study, we analyzed the correlation between polymorphism of FSHβ、FSHR、Gn RH and Gn RHR gene and fecundity. Futhermore, the expression level of Gn RHR and FSHR gene was studied in estrus period and in the oestrum. The aim of this study is to find the differences of candidate genes polymorphism and expression in high prolificacy goat and low prolificacy goat.1. FSHβ and Gn RH genes have not polymorphism in Qianbei Ma goat, Guizhou Black goat and Guizhou White goat.2. The C126 T, C1246 A and C1412 A mutations were detected in exon1 and 10 in FSHR gene. Significant difference between litter size and genotypes was found at the C1246 A loci in Qian Bei Ma Goat and at the C1412 Aloci in Qian Bei Ma Goat and Guizhou Black Goat. One mutation(G121A) was found in exon 1, at the G121 A loci, significant differences of genotype distribution were found between Qian Bei Ma Goat and Guizhou Black.3. In estrus period, FSHR expression of BB genotype of the hypothalamus and uterus were significantly higher than that of AA genotype in Qianbei Ma goat(p﹤0.05);Gn RHR expression of AA genotype of the pituitary, fallopian tubes, ovaries and uterus were significantly higher than that of AA genotype in Qianbei Ma goat(p﹤0.05). In the oestrum, FSHR expression of BB genotype of the ovaries and uterus were significantly higher than that of AA genotype in Qianbei Ma goat(p﹤0.05);Gn RHR expression of AA genotype of the pituitary, fallopian tubes, ovariesand uterus were significantly higher than that of AA genotype in Qianbei Ma goat(p﹤0.05);4. The Gn RHR gene of Qianbei Ma goat was successfully cloned and the full-length of amino acid coding region(CDS) is 984 bp, encoding 328 amino acids.
