Corn is one of the world’s three major grain crops, but also the quality of the feed and industrial raw materials. China’s corn acreage is about 3 million hectares in seed corn and field production process, are related to the emasculation, our corn emasculation technology is still in the manual bagging intervention and artificial tasseling stage, the presence of artificial emasculation low efficiency, to the net emasculation rate, high labor costs, poor working conditions and other issues. Timely and effective emasculation of the key constraints of the rapid development of seed corn. Domestic research in this field later in this paper based on the development of the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Reclamation 3QXZ-8 presents a corn tassel self-altitude location identification technology propelled corn emasculation machine basis.This thesis study design corn tassel monomer automatic profiling lifting system, the use of photoelectric sensing technology to identify tassel, tassel positioned high-tech infrared scheduled to give preliminary results after the test. The main contents are as follows:1. Identification of Corn Tassel height and location based infrared measurement technology, access to the location information of corn tassel, providing a theoretical basis for automatic profiling of corn emasculation machinery. For corn tassel shape features, to be emasculated by testing random measurement of physical properties of corn tassel get 60: tassel average height, leaf stent and quality are 2859.2mm, 95.5mm and 38.98 g. Emasculation operation tests show that the efficiency of the control system is artificial emasculation of 18 times, emasculation rate reached 91.6%, emasculation error is less than 5%, the efficiency and quality of emasculation meet the requirements of the job.
