The planting of fruit trees was toward the direction of specialization, scale production and atomization. The key of the orchard planted was the pest control, which directly affected the yield and quality of the fruit. However, the poor application techniques were not only wasting pesticides, but also polluting the environment. With the profiling spray technology can not only require the rate of per unit area, but improve the utilization of pesticides and protect the environment.The working principle of profiling system of shiftable boom sprayer and the functional requirements were considered. The general design scheme of copying control system was completed. The actuator of hydraulic system was designed and selected, which according to the work load of spraying operations. The parameter of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pumps, motors and solenoid valves were calculated. Component models were selected by its parameter.The software and hardware was studied which designed by analysis system and functional requirements. The hardware design part, STC12C5A08S2 was chosen as the main chip microcontroller. System power supply circuit was based on LM7805. Solid state relay was designed as solenoid circuit. Photoelectric switch circuit was designed and stepping motor driving circuit was droved by M542 driver. PCB board was designed and printed, the various components were welded, and various parts of the circuit control system hardware were integrated. Using the LabVIEW software to create man-machine interface and realize the communication between the host computer and the slave computer.The developed profiling control system of the shiftable boom sprayer was finally debugged and tested. It showed the control system can complete the automatic copying application in orchard. System is stable, safe, reliable, and easy to operate.
