There are many researches on beneficial bacillus as a substitute for antibiotic. However, the research on compatibility of medicines of beneficial bacillus with compound chinese herbs is rare, especially, the research applied to silkie is hardly any. With silkie which is Precious medicine birds as test object, this experiment studied compatibility of medicines of bacillus from black bone chicken with compound chinese herbs have an influence on the performance of chicken growth and immunity, aiming at providing a theoretical basis for compatibility of medicines of bacillus from silkie with compound chinese herbs, which substitutes for antibiotic. This test screened two strains of bacillus from health silkie gastrointestinal tract. The two strains of bacillus are WJ1, WJR2, respectively on the group and the individual morphology observation, physiological and biochemical test. With 16 S rDNA sequence analysis construct phylogenetic tree to determine the phylogenetic position. The result is WJ1 is Bacillus cereus and WJR2 is Bacillus subtilis. The studies on enzyme production characteristics such as amylase and protease, tolerance with pig bile salt, artificial gastric juice and intestinal juice and cultural character were carried out. The result is both of them are high yielding of enzyme and high tolerance. Their culture characteristics are optimum pH is 6 and the optimum growth temperature is about 37℃. The temperature range growth of WJ1 is slightly wide. Growth curve is characterized by two strains that the time of reaching logarithmic phase is 12 h, stationary growth stage of WJ1 is from 12 h to 34 h, while stationary growth stage of WJR2 ranges from12 h to 24 h.The probiotic animal experiments of WJ1, WJR2 respectively with 0.5g, 1g, 1.5g of three different doses of compound Chinese herbal medicine were conducted. Chinese herbal medicine is composed of proportional Codonopsis, Astragalus, and Poria. The result shows different combinations were able to improve daily gain in varying degrees, lower ratio of feed to weight, promote the growth of spleen and bursa of immune organs, maintain Newcastle hemagglutination inhibition antibody at a high level and effectively enhance immunoglobulin G protein content. Trial group Ⅳ that is WJ1 with compatibility of Chinese herbal compound of 1g in the aspects of daily gain, spleen index, and maintaining a high level of ND titer is the most obvious effect. Compared with the control group, the weight gain of up to 23.6%(P<0.05), spleen immune index up to 29.1%(P<0.05) at 42 days of age, ND titer up to 60%(P<0.05). Test group Ⅵ that is WJR2 with compatibility of Chinese herbal compound of 0.5g in the aspect of ratio of feed to weight decreased most obviously, which can reduce as much as 19.1% at 36-42 days(P<0.05).Test group Ⅷ that is WJR2 with compatibility of Chinese herbal compound of 1.5g in the respect of improving the immune index bursa, and Ig G content is the most obvious effect. Compared with the control group, the bursa immune index up to 50.5%(P<0.05) at 35 days of age, Ig G content of 28...
