In order to investigate the geographic variation of Idesia Polycarpa, Select superior provenances, family, type, breeding new varieties.This paper studies the differences in 65 families 12 provenance of seedlings grown sources Idesia polycarpa. According to the results:(1)There were significant differences between different provenances Idesia polycarpa in one year-old seedlings of tree height growth conditions. In all provenances, Chongqing provenance average height was the maximum, and other provenances were significant difference. In all family, relatively good pedigree were Chongqing 2, Guangyuan 59, Zhangjiajie 10, the difference was not significant between the three lines; Due to the high variability of Zhangjiajie10 tree smallest coefficient, description of genetic stability of the strong growth of high pedigree progeny mountain in Zhangjiajie 10.(2)There were significant differences between different provenances Idesia polycarpa annual diameter growth of seedlings status. From all provenances, Chongqing, Zunyi, Zhangjiajie, Guangyuan, Chengdu, Yichang, six kinds of sources mean larger base diameter.
