In China, tobacco is an important economic crop. The tobacco produce region mainly in Henan, Yunnan, Guizhou and other provinces. However, the mechanization level of tobacco production remains very low, especially in the sections of transplanting, topping and harvesting. Multi-function tobacco machinery is an important role in tobacco machinery development. Tobacco topping can remove the apical dominance, increase areas of leaves and ensure the production and quality. Tobacco spraying can eliminate pests and diseases. The weeding can improve soil permeability and stop tobacco lodging. Tobacco artificial auxiliary can guarantee quality of tobacco leaves and reduce mechanical damage. In a word, with the development of modern tobacco agricultural mechanization, tobacco field management operation is a short board of the entire tobacco agricultural mechanization development. Therefore, combined with the actual conditions of tobacco planting of Henan province, it has the important significance and engineering value to design and develop tobacco high frame field operation vehicle for plain area of Henan, which contains tobacco topping, spray, transplanting, weeding and artificial tobacco harvest.Match Henan plains tobacco agronomic with the tobacco operation vehicle become one of the key issue in the design of agricultural design. First of all, this paper introduced the development status of tobacco operation machine at home and abroad and analyses the basic structure and working principle of hydraulic system for agricultural high frame field operation vehicles. Combined with the growth of tobacco planting morphological and agronomic requirements, according to tobacco operation vehicle’s structure and technical requirements, the schemes of the travel hydraulic system and other working module hydraulic system were designed.To achieve the vehicle design target, the continuously variable transmission and closed circulatory system was used to the running system, using a pump and three motors. The hydraulic oil can be free distribution. The steering hydraulic system used a steering priority diversion technology, including a full hydraulic steering gear and a steering cylinder. This scheme can ensure that the operation vehicle can drive, work and steering normally. In order to guarantee both sides of the hydraulic cylinder synchronization expansion and realize the wheel track’s non-polar transformation during vehicle’s traveling, dividing-combining value was used to wheel base adjustment system. The wheel base adjustment could be adjusted convenient and quickly. Hydraulic motor directly connected to the spraying pump was used to spraying system, which ensured the spray efficiency of stirring and reduced the power consumption and heat generation. Machines lifting system and the row hosting system adopted hydraulic lock to ensure the security and stability of the machine operation.Secondly, this paper had carried on the design, calculation and selection analysis for the components that made up the hydraulic system, which determined the various hydraulic components model and laid the foundation for prototype and simulation analysis.Finally, the running system model and the wheel base adjustment system model were established by using the engineering system simulation software AMESim. The synchronism of hydraulic cylinder and the oil pressure and flow in the working process of each motor were simulated, and the simulation results were analyzed. Whether the hydraulic system met the requirements were tested by using the simulation results and the theoretical calculation.The vehicle hydraulic system can complete vehicle’s full hydraulic drive, hydraulic steering, hydraulic wheel base adjustment, tobacco topping, spraying and so on. This paper provided technical support for multi-function operating vehicle for tobacco through theoretical analysis, calculation and comparison of simulation.
