In order to study the seed dormancy mechanism system of Idesia polycarpa, this research take the Henan Xinyang Jigong Mountain, Henan Jiyuan Manghe forest farm of 2 provenances of Idesia polycarpa Maxim seeds as experimental materials. Seeds from jigong mountain pre-chilled respectively in 5 ℃,10 ℃,12 ℃,15 ℃, and treated respectively for 0 d,20 d,40 d,60 d under each temperatures, then observed their germination in 15/25 ℃. In the processing of pre-chilling, tested their dynamic changes of endogenous hormone levels, and tested the dynamic changes of the content of inclusions(proline, soluble sugar, starch,fat, soluble protein); Seeds from manghe forest farm, at first, carry out the Imbibition rate of Idesia polycarpa Maxim. seeds of Jiyuan, then treated respectively for 0 d,20 d,40 d,60 d in 5 ℃, and took seeds which were stored for 0 d,20 d,40 d,60 d in the nature as a control, then observed their germination in 15/25 ℃and 25 ℃. Tested their endogenous hormone content once every 20 d in the processing of pre-chilling and once every 4 d in the processing of germination. The results showed that:(1) 5 ℃-15 ℃ with the lifting of the Idesia polycarpa dormant role, especially 5 ℃, 10 ℃ best handle 60 d; low temperature and low temperature processing 40 d 60 d germination rate were not significant, temperature 15/25 ℃ germination at best, were up 94.67 % and 98.00 %, at 25 ℃ constant temperature germination worst, was 2.33%.(2) 5 ℃ process, proline, soluble sugar content increased, starch, fat and soluble protein content decreased, the insoluble matter into soluble substance that helps relieve seed dormancy, provide nutrients for the seed germination.(3) In the absence of removing waxy layer Idesia polycarpa seeds, only 2 h water absorption of up to 44.6% have been to saturation, indicating Idesia polycarpa seed suction effect is better, testa absorbing barrier does not exist.(4) During processing in the seed of 5 ℃pre-chilling, IAA content always showed a downtrend, GA3 content showed "down- up- down", ZR content showed risetrend, ABA content always showed a downtrend, but ABA content have a upward trent in the seeds from jiyuan under 60 d pre-chilling; During processing in the seed of 10 pre℃-chilling, IAA content showed "down- up", GA3 content showed "down-up", ZR content showed "up- down", ABA content always showed a downtrend; During processing in the seed of 12 pre℃-chilling, IAA content showed "down- up-down", GA3 content showed "down- up- down", ZR change smaller, ABA content always showed a downtrend; During processing in the seed of 15 pre℃-chilling, IAA content showed "down- up", GA3 content showed "down- up- down", ZR content showed "up- down", ABA content always showed a downtrend; Under the different pre-chilling temperature, the ratio of(IAA+GA3+ZR)/ABA always showed a downtrend; The main reason of remove seed dormancy is ABA content falling.(5) In the processing of germination without pre-chilling for the seed from Jiyuan, IAA content showed wavy falling trend, GA3 content showed “up- down”, ZR content showed “up- down”, ABA content always showed a downtrend, the radio of(IAA+GA3+ZR)/ABA showed “up- down”; In the processing of germination with 20 days of pre-chilling for the seed from Jiyuan, IAA content showed “down- up- down- up”, GA3 content under 15/25 ℃ showed “up- down- up”, GA3 content under 25 ℃ showed “up- down”, ZR content under 15/25 ℃showed “up- down”, ZR content under 25 showed ℃ downtrend, ABA content showed “down- up”, the radio of(IAA+GA3+ZR)/ABA in 15/25 ℃showed “down- up”; In the processing of germination with 40 days of pre-chilling for the seed from Jiyuan, IAA content showed “down- up- down”, GA3 content under 15/25 ℃ showed “up- down”, GA3 content under 25 ℃ showed “up- down- up”, ZR content showed “up- down”, ABA content showed “down- up”, the radio of(IAA+GA3+ZR)/ABA in 15/25 ℃showed “up- down”; In the processing of germination with 60 days of pre-chilling for the seed from Jiyuan, IAA content showed “down- up- down”, GA3 content under 15/25 ℃ showed “up- down- up”, GA3 content under 25 ℃ showed downtrend, ZR content showed “up- down”, ABA under 15/25 ℃content showed “down- up”, ABA under 25 ℃content showed “down- up- down- up”, the radio of(IAA+GA3+ZR)/ABA in 15/25 ℃showed “up- down”. When the content of IAA, GA3 and ZR showed up, ABA content showed down, Idesia polycarpa seeds’ germination can promote, when table when Idesia polycarpa seeds’ germination potential reach maximum, The contents of IAA, GA3 and ZR showed downtrend.
