| Dendranthema indicum var. aromaticum was found and named by Liu qi hong in Shennongjia, Hu Bei province. Its flowers, leaves and roots have heavy aromas, and it has a broad prospects for the application of ornamental plants. It has great significance of improving species of chrysanthemum, for its heavy aromas.We focuses on Dendranthema indicum var. Aromaticum, with making a comparative study of it and Dendranthema indicum and Ground-grow Chrysanthemum’Niu9722’.The paper discusses its Trichomes type and its structure; it analysis the types and content of glandular hairs secretion extracted by dichloromethane in GC-MS analysis. Secondly, it observes leaf table surface shape volume density and the type and the content of glandular hairs secretion changes of different leaf ages,by treating Dendranthema indicum var. Aromaticum with different concentrations of methyl jasmonate, with processing time for 4 h,8 h,24 h,48 h,5 d, 10 d,20 d,40 d. Finally, it observes leaf table surface shape volume density and the type and the content of glandular hairs secretion changes of different leaf ages, by treating Dendranthema indicum var. Aromaticum with different illumination intensity and measuring the photosynthetic characteristics and using LI-6400 xt portable photosynthetic apparatus.The results showed as follows:there are two main types of table fur on Dendranthema indicum. Ground-grow Chrysanthemum’Niu9722’and Dendranthema indicum var. Aromaticum. One is T-shaped non-glandular trichomes which doesn’t have the secretion function. The other one is Capitate glandular trichomes, unlike T-shaped non-glandular trichomes, having the secretion function. Under ultraviolet fluorescence, T-shaped non-glandular trichomes show blue and Capitate glandular trichomes disappear. Under the blue fluorescence, two types of table fur show yellow. T-shaped non-glandular trichomes distribute on both the upper and lower epidermis. The trichomes density of the upper is significantly lower than that of the lower. The density of T-shaped non-glandular trichomes will decrease as leaf age increase. For Capitate glandular trichomes, the trichomes density of the upper is also significantly lower than that of the lower. The density of Capitate glandular trichomes will decrease as leaf age increase on Dendranthemaindicum and Ground-grow Chrysanthemum ’Niu9722’. Capitate glandular trichomes of Dendranthema indicumvar. Aromaticum is sparse for the 15-day-old leaf. The 45-day-old leaf have the greatest density. A total of 92 compounds was identified in the trichome secretion of Dendranthemaindicum, Ground-grow Chrysanthemum ’Niu9722’ and Dendranthema indicum var. Aromaticum. Most of them are terpenoids and its derivatives. The common constituents are 6 compounds. A total of 49 compounds was identified for Dendranthema indicum, accounting for 90.96% of the total relative content of glandular hairs secretion. A total of 40 compounds was identified for ’Niu9722’, accounting for 83.33% of the total relative content of glandular hairs secretion. A total of 44 compounds was identified for Dendranthema indicum var. Aromaticum, accounting for 83.33% of the total relative content of glandular hairs secretion.The density of T- shaped non-glandular trichomes and capitate glandular trichome,and species and contents of glandular trichome exudates of methyl jasmonate-treated Dendranthema indicum var.
