This experiment takes Northeastern temperate hardwood forest soil, in Jiaohe, Jilin province near the North of Changbai mountains, as the main studying object to investigate the forest soil organic carbon and its component through the line transect method (coarse or fine particulate organic carbon and light or heavy organic carbon) in bisect, altitude, heterogeneity of the slope direction distribution, these results show that:Temperate hardwood forest soil’s total organic carbon, coarse particle organic carbon, fine particle organic carbon, light fraction organic carbon and heavy fraction organic carbon have consistent vertical distribution characters in bisect, are gradually reduced with deeper soil layers; slope direction affects total organic carbon space distribution in surface soil, the surface soil organic carbon distribution in eastern slope listed as follow from high to low:upper slope>middle slope>lower slope, while other three types slope perform as middle slope is highest, and bottom slope is lowest, and (cloudy slope) organic carbon content in Northern slope is higher than that of sunny slope (Eastern, Western and Southern slope), analyze that light distribution is related to the space heterogeneity of soil temperature; different soil coarse particles organic content distribution due to different slope direction. Eastern slope and West slope, coarse particle organic carbon content in corresponding soil profile in each slope has no significantly differences, but exists obviously differences between Southern slope and Northern slope; altitude has obviously effects on the distribution of coarse particles organic carbon, coarse particles organic carbon in Northern slope reduced with altitude increased, coarse particle organic carbon in Southern slope increases with altitude increased; except upper slope parent, fine particle organic carbon content differences from all bisect in corresponding levels in East slope and West slope were not significant;soil organic carbon content, with different slope direction(Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern slope), have significant differences between the same reorganization.
