Organic carbon pool of soil carbon pools of the eco-system is important, it plays animportant role in balancing the global carbon cycle, it is a soil quality assessment andmanagement for sustainable land use in the major must be taken into account. Select7functionalarea of Nanjing,studies of soil organic carbon active spatial distribution patterns, provision ofbasic data for research on urban soil carbon.Demonstrate the different human activities on soilcarbon and soil properties of the affected and to reasonable use urban soil and protect the urbanenvironment provides a theoretical basis. Determination of total organic carbon (TOC) and fourtypes of activated carbon component of soil dissolved organic carbon (DOC), the amount ofmicrobial biomass carbon (MBC), oxidation state of carbon (ROC) and the light fraction organiccarbon (LFC) indicators. The major results are:(1) The Road green belt at the special circumstances, the active organic carbon distributionexception to other functional areas, and DOC and LFC has built up a high-content, respectively,for128.41mg/kg (surface),59.40mg/kg (the surface) and5.58g/kg (surface) and2.49g/kg (thesurface).Other area of the city forest soil active organic carbon distribution pattern is: urbannatural forest> school,city green square> parks> residential. Human activity intensity strength,the more soil active organic carbon content is low.(2) Active in the surface soil organic carbon concentration in the urban soils are disturbed,backfill, and distribution of the impact surface with different demographic characteristics, but inthe permeate, migrate the content relies on the active surface soil organic carbon.(3) Total soil organic carbon content and DOC,MBC,ROC,LFC are the relevance of a verysignificant level, the soil organic carbon content activity dependent on total organic carbonlevels.DOC,MBC,ROC,LFC and soil nutrient element in the nitrogen and the nitrogen, quick-fixalkali potassium phosphate is effective, significant, and total organic carbon and soil nutrientsmore closely, the carbon in the soil prior to the change to reflect the soil small changes, whichmay be considered active organic carbon can be more accurate, more of the actual soil fertilityand soil physical properties of the soil changes to indicate the level of quality.
