The northeast region of China has rich crop straw resources, scale application of biomass briquetting equipment is of great significance to avoid wasting resources and easing air pollution. However, using of the existing equipment has some problems to affect the stability of continuous work. Few studies on biomass molding characteristics cause hard to promote the use of briquetting equipment in Northeast China. So it is very important to research the biomass briquetting characteristics and develop suitable briquetting equipment in Northeast China.First of all, this paper reviewed the research status of biomass briquetting technology and equipment, identified the working principle of biomass briquetting equipment. Based on the properties of straw biomass, an analysis of the mechanism about biomass briquetting at room temperature was did. The forming principle of ring briquetting equipment and the influence factors was analyzed. To study the influence of the parameters on the pressure in the die hole, the mechanical relationship was derived between different depths of the die hole and pressure. According to above research, the briquetting characteristics of the straw in Northeast China was put forward.The finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to simulate the forming process. To verify the stress variation in the die hole, the mechanism of biomass briquetting was analyzed. A study on the influence of three parameters of die hole about the force trends was made.Using the corn straw in Northeast China as raw materials did the experiment on straw densification briquetting. All of the data was recorded and analyzed the actual impact of parameters on the biomass briquetting. An analysis of the influence on briquetting relaxation density was made about aspect ratio, taper angle, moisture content and particle size. According to the analysis results, the optimal condition was selected.Based on the research about straw molding characteristics in Northeast China, the basic structure and working principle of the ring die molding equipment was analyzed, and the original structure was improved. This study provides a theoretical basis for improving the briquetting equipment to make it more suitable for using in Northeast China. |
