Effect On Different Density On The Growth And Yield Of Sweet Sorghum

The experiment with randomized block design, with two factors, respectively, variety and density. The variety was A1 (Jinnongdatiansiza No 1), A2 (Jinnongda sweet sorghum No.1), the density was B1 (16.7 myriad plants/ hm2), B2 (12.5 myriad plants/hm2). The result shows that:(1) Visible leaf and extended leaf growth in Bl density were faster than in B2 density. Visible leaf and extended leaf growth of A1 variety were faster than A2 variety. At the same time, height of Al variety was higher than A2 variety, height of sweet sorghum in B1 density was slightly higher than in B2 density, Tiller number in B1 density was more than in B2 density. (2) In comparison fresh forage yields, fresh forage yield in B1 density was significantly higher than in B2 density, up to 137361.18kg/hm2.
